Shang-Chi star Simu Liu is all hyped up for Marvel's upcoming Avengers: Doomsday as the actor opened up on his thoughts about the film that is all set to reunite some of the biggest names in the MCU. Speaking to ScreenRant, the actor shared his enthusiasm for the film, as he was asked to describe the project in three words. To which he responded,

He then continued to talk about the plethora of superheroes who will be teaming up in the film as he added,,
"I mean, there are just so many actors in it, and getting to work with those people as peers is really incredible because I grew up watching so many of them. It feels, in a lot of ways, like a love letter to the entire genre of superhero movies. And I think there’s something really fun about that."
Further talking about how Avengers: Doomsday is the perfect fit for comic book lovers, he continued,
"[The movie is] for all the misfits and the weirdos and the underdogs that grew up reading comic books and feeling like there was hope for them somehow – that it didn’t matter if they didn’t fit in – I think there’s just always a special place in my heart for that entire genre."
Liu played the role of Shang-Chi for the first and only time in Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, the highly acclaimed film that established his character. He will now be reprising the role in Avengers: Doomsday, alongside a star-studded ensemble of all the MCU heroes
