Its source material was initially published as a research paper by two professors: Elaine Farrell (Queen’s University Belfast) and Leanne McCormick (Ulster University). In 2023, it was published as a paperback and e-book by Penguin Books, and its response led to mass publishing in 2024. The research paper also led to a museum exhibition and a podcast.
