Former President of the United States Barack Obama appeared on the IMO podcast, which is hosted by former First Lady Michelle Obama and her older brother Craig Robinson. Barack Obama was the 44th president of America, who served in office from 2009 to 2017. In one of the most anticipated episodes of the IMO podcast, a Democratic party member, Barack, and Michelle discussed many things, including the rumors surrounding their relationship.

As it was Barack Obama's first time on the podcast, Craig Robinson, who happens to be his brother-in-law, also joked with him, while Michelle teased him from time to time. Robinson, while welcoming the former president to their podcast, said:

"This is the episode that everyone's been waiting for with bated breath. Because we have my brother-in-law, your husband, the former president of the United States."

To which Michelle quickly added:

"He made time in his busy schedule to come on. We are honored."

Before beginning the episode, Barack and Michelle shared a warm hug. As soon as the three of them were comfortably seated, Robinson jokingly said:

"Wait, you guys like each other?"

To which Michelle instantly replied:

"That's the rumor mill."

Barack wittily said:

"She took me back! It was touch and go for a while."

While Michelle teased him by saying:

"Now, don't you start."

As Robinson made a joke about the two being in the same room, Michelle, while laughing, said:

"I know, because when we aren't, folks think we're divorced."

The former first couple is pretty much aware of all the gossip surrounding their long-time relationship. While the two have been occupied with individual projects this year and were spotted a few times going out solo, rumors of their split began to spread on the internet. Just so that people calm down a bit and not assume the worst, Barack Obama even took to his Instagram in June to share a family photo to celebrate his younger daughter, Sasha's 24th birthday.

During the IMO podcast, Barack and Michelle took the opportunity to discuss the challenges when facing men and boys, and how it could have been strenuous for them to deal with a son, especially after raising two daughters. Barack Obama, whose parents got divorced when he was just 2 and was raised by her mother, Stanley Ann Dunham, said:

"I think I might've been more judgmental, harder, and I would've tried to — I'd like to think I would have been more self-aware enough to combat that, but I just think father-son relationships, for me, particularly if I don't have a dad around to show it to me, might've been more difficult."
