Bella Hadid recently posted a series of pictures from a hospital bed, prompting fans to become concerned about her health. According to People Magazine, the model posted on Wednesday, September 17, sharing that she had been away from social media for more than a week, because of her health. In one the pictures, she shared, she can be seen connected to IV bags.
She also shared a picture of a rainbow and few moments from her supposed hospital visit. At the moment, no exact cause of her recent health scare has been revealed, but Bella Hadid had previously opened about her struggles with Lyme diesease.

According to People Magazine, Bella Hadid was diagnosed with Lyme disease, back in 2012, along with her mother, Yolanda Hadid and her younger brother, Anwar Hadid. Over the years, she and her family members have opened about her condition to raise awareness about the long lasting effects of Lyme disease.
In her 2022 interview with Vogue, she opened up about living with the illness, saying:
"For three years while I was working, I would wake up every morning hysterical, in tears, alone. I wouldn’t show anybody that. I would go to work, cry at lunch in my little greenroom, finish my day, go to whatever random little hotel I was in for the night, cry again, wake up in the morning, and do the same thing.”
In 2023, she took to her Instagram to write a lengthy post on her condition, admitting that that living with this condition has been difficullt. She said:
"The little me that suffered would be so proud of grown me for not giving up on myself🫶🏼. Thankful to my mommy for keeping all of my medical records, sticking by me , never leaving my side, protecting, supporting , but most of all, believing me through all of this."
She further added how her Lyme disease has worsened with time. She said:
"Living in this state, worsening with time and work while trying to make myself, my family and the people who support me, proud, had taken a toll on me in ways I can’t really explain."
Back in 2015, while speaking at the Global Lyme Alliance Inaugural Ball, Yonlanda Hadid opened about her two younger children suffering from the condition, saying:
"When my two youngest children, Bella and Anwar, were diagnosed with chronic Lyme disease in early 2012, watching my babies struggle in silence in order to support me in my journey, struck the deepest core of hopelessness inside of me."
