Joe Burrow spoke out about his experience of learning that his house had been broken into while playing a match against the Dallas Cowboys. According to People Magazine, the first-hand footage of the Cincinnati Bengals player discovering that his home had been ransacked was released as part of the Netflix series, Quarterback, where he is seen sitting down after the game when he receives the news.

According to People Magazine, Joe Burrow's home was broken into on December 9 last year, while his girlfriend, Olivia Ponton, was staying at his home in Hamilton County, Ohio. Several expensive items were stolen, totaling around three hundred thousand dollars.

According to People Magazine, in the footage in the Netflix series Quarterback's sixth episode, Joe Burrow looks at his phone after his game. At this point, he learns the news about his home being broken into. He is seen saying:

"Of f*cking course this happened to me right now. When you’re on cloud nine, something’s gonna bring you right back down. It just felt like the kind of year that it was.”

During the incident, four men broke into his house where they stole expensive jewelry, which included diamond necklaces, rings, watches, along with Louis Vuitton luggage bags and many more items.

Interestingly enough, the four men, named Jordan Francisco Quiroga Sánchez, Sergio Andres Ortega Cabello, Bastian Alejandro Orellana Morales, and another unnamed person, clicked pictures of themselves with the items that they stole while they were still at Joe Burrow's home. These pictures were found later when the men were pulled over at a traffic stop after leaving Burrow's home.

According to People Magazine, soon after the incident, Burrow released a statement saying that the incident had caused a violation of his privacy. He said:

"Way more is already out there than I would want out there and that I care to share, so that's all I've got to say about that. [My] privacy has been violated in more ways than one."

In a statement released to People Magazine, prosecutor Connie Pillich revealed that the incident at Burrow's home was allegedly related to organized crime, which was in turn related to other robberies at the houses of many other players. She said:

"Let this be clear: If you commit a crime in Hamilton County, we will prosecute you. Organized crime has no place in our communities, and we will hold those responsible accountable.”

Quarterbacks, which was released on July 8, is currently streaming on Netflix.
