Brooklyn Beckham and his girlfriend, Nicola Peltz, had skipped father David Beckham's 50th birthday bash in London on May 3. A source, while recently speaking to People in an article published on June 4, revealed that the reason the couple chose to opt out of the event was because of the presence of Romeo Beckham's new girlfriend, DJ Kim Turnbull, who the source mentioned was once linked to Brooklyn.
"Brooklyn didn't want to be in the same room as her, and he told his dad that. But David opted to have Kim there over Nicola. Brooklyn and Kim know each other from the past, and his family knows he's not comfortable around her."
Brooklyn Beckham covers up tattoo dedicated to mom Victoria Beckham amid family drama
David Beckham and Victoria Beckham's eldest son, Brooklyn Beckham, recently posed for Glamour Germany alongside his wife, Nicola Peltz. Brooklyn, who has almost 100 tattoos on his body, has a tattoo quote dedicated to his mother, which reads, 'mama's boy', that has been covered with other inkings.
Brooklyn Beckham had first gotten the tattoo in 2018 and has covered up the tattoo with a bunch of flowers, inspired by Nicola's bridal bouquet. News of an alleged family feud has made waves online after Brooklyn was absent from dad, David Beckham's, 50th birthday bash.
While the feud seems to have gotten serious recently, it allegedly goes back years, before Nicola tied the knot with Brooklyn Beckham on April 9, 2022.
While speaking to Grazia USA, Nicola revealed that her wedding dress was supposed to be designed by Victoria's label, which was founded in 2008. However, things didn't go as planned. While talking to the magazine, Peltz revealed,
"We connected to start designing the dress and then a few days went by, and I didn't hear anything. Victoria called my mom and said her atelier couldn't make it."
While Nicola said that David and Victoria were "great in-laws," it "hurt her feelings" when rumors insinuated that she had "never planned" to wear a gown by Victoria.
Brooklyn and Nicola also missed Victoria's 51st birthday party, and Brooklyn did not post any birthday wishes to his mother on social media. Recently, on May 25th, Brooklyn posted an Instagram story of himself alongside Nicola with the caption, "I always choose you," which netizens alluded was supposed to be a dig at his parents.
