Josh Hartnett spoke about doing his stunts in his new action-comedy movie

While speaking about carrying out his action sequences for Fight or Flight, he shared how it has been a challenging yet rewarding experience at the same time.

The Oh Lucy! actor shared,

"I mean, it feels good to be able to really throw yourself into something physically and have it turn out the way that this has turned out. It makes it all worth it."

Working hard regularly and transforming into his strongest self was non-negotiable for Josh Hartnett. He underwent a rigorous schedule to be in the desired form and a well-trained shape.

He recalled those days, further continuing,

"It was very, very full workout days leading up to this because it was nonstop. Once we started filming, we had five weeks to put the whole thing down, and there were seven big fight sequences."

The journey from working out to learning stunts to performing them in front of the camera, while maintaining his fit appearance, required his utmost dedication and concentration.

While chatting with the outlet during the movie screening event, Hartnett further added,

"So every couple of days we were doing another one [stunt], and I did my own stunts. So I had to be in pretty good shape. But then also had to learn the choreography, working with an amazing stunt team, and we all just threw it together."

Before Fight or Flight, Josh had not attempted to perform his stunts for over a decade, and this movie was a new opportunity for him to explore. The Black Hawk Down actor opened up about feeling "super excited to have this script."

He shared with People,

"I'm in my 40s; I haven't done a stunt since I was 29. So to have anybody trust that I could pull this stuff off was very exciting."

Josh Hartnett praised the cast's "amazing stunt team" members for helping him "every step of the way." Sharing how Clayton Grover, his stunt double, supported and guided him throughout the filming process, he shared,

"He would work with the rest of the stunt team to find ways and work with me to find ways to make these things happen so that I could actually do them, which you don't always get that sort of bespoke situation. But yeah, I was able to do them without dying."

Hartnett portrays the character of a disgraced Secret Service agent named Lucas Reyes in Fight or Flight, according to Film Fugitives.

Directed by James Madigan, this film also stars Charithra Chandran and Katee Sackhoff, among other popular actors.
