Cristin Milioti to appear in horror film Buddy
Recently, it's been reported that Cristin Milioti will be appearing in an upcoming independent horror film titled Buddy. The film is directed by Casper Kelly, who has helmed projects like Adult Swim Yule Log and Too Many Cooks.
Kelly is writing the film with Jaime King, and it is labelled as a “new experience in horror.” Raphael Margules, J.D. Lifshitz, Drew Sykes and Tyler Davidson are producing the film under their banners BoulderLight, Low Spark Films, Sipur Studios, and Substance. Tracy Rosenblum from BoulderLight is serving as the executive producer. BoulderLight Pictures has also financed another horror film Weapons, which is directed by Zach Cregger and is slated to be released in August this year.
The production of Buddy is underway, and more details about its release date and plot are expected to emerge soon. Cristin played the role of Sofia Falcone in HBO's limited series The Penguin. Created by Lauren LeFranc, the series was a spin-off of 2022's The Batman and showcased the rise of the Penguin in the crime world.
