Actor Cam Gigandet, who starred in Twilight, is in the headlines again, and this time not for a new movie appearance but for not paying rent. The actor who has a net worth of $4 million, according to Celebrity Net Worth, is being sued by his former landlord for allegedly not paying rent in Los Angeles.

Ronald Goldhammer, Cam Gigandet's former landlord, is suing him for allegedly not paying $60,000 in rent on a Los Angeles home he once shared with Dominique Geisendorff, his ex-wife. Despite continuing to live in the house, the pair did not pay monthly rent between November 2023 and February 2024, according to court records per Us Weekly, which mentioned that In Touch were first to report the news.

According to Goldhammer, the pair violated the terms of the $6,650 monthly lease. He said that there were other damages to the house in a court filing and claimed that by not paying the full rent, the defendants had violated the agreement.

On May 15, through his lawyers, Gigandet denied any wrongdoing, claiming that his actions were,

"reasonable, lawful, and in good faith."

His legal team also contended that Gigandet was released from the lease because of purported violations by the landlord himself, and that a third party may have caused any damages.
