Full House star Candace Cameron does not allow anyone to watch scary movies in her house. During a recent episode of her podcast, The Candace Cameron Bure Podcast, the star explained the reason behind banning the streaming of horror movies in her house.

The actress who claims to be spiritual said that her husband and kids start "rolling their eyes" at her opinion about horror movies,

"In our house as a mom, I feel like you guys make fun of me when I talk about - they make fun of me all the time - but particularly when I'm serious about a spiritual thing happening, and then they're rolling their eyes at me. Like the portal."

She continued,

"Like if you're watching this, or you're playing this video game, or whatever, that's a portal that could let stuff inside our home. I don't even want someone watching a scary movie in our house on the TV, because to me, that's just a portal."

Candace Cameron is a devout Christian who is open about sharing her faith and her love for Jesus. She was baptized at 12. While speaking to Parade, in October 2024, Candace said,

"My faith is the cornerstone of who I am. It's where my worldview comes from. I value the Bible so very much as the blueprint or the guide for my life, and it's not something that I can leave at the doorstep."

"Listen, I'm in the film industry," Candace Cameron reasons, controversial theory about horror films

While giving a reason for why she doesn't let horror films be streamed in her house, Candace said that she believes that there's a "portal" connecting the demonic world.

While explaining how she came up with the theory, Candace Cameron said,

"Listen, I'm in the film industry. I understand how it all works. I know that movie has a crew of 200 people, and they're lighting it, and they're adding the sound effects, and it's makeup, and the camera, people, and actors; however, there's still something that can be incredibly demonic while they've made it."

The actress has raised eyebrows for her religious beliefs and controversial opinions. In 2024, Bure made headlines after sharing a video from Pastor Josh Howerton, which explained "how to vote like Jesus" in the 2024 Presidential election.

In the same year, she blasted the controversial tableau at the Olympics, for featuring a banquet scene of an actor playing Greek god Dionysus, on a table with drag queens. The actress had a problem with the scene, which was inspired by "The Last Supper".
