The cast for Wicked: For Good, in a recent social media video, delivered a performance for The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. The ensemble included cast members Cynthia Erivo, Ariana Grande, Jonathan Bailey, Bowen Yang, Michelle Yeoh, Ethan Slater, Marissa Bode, and Jeff Goldblum.

The video was posted amidst Jimmy Fallon's weeklong Wicked Week. From November 16, Fallon has been celebrating the release of Universal Pictures' Wicked: For Good with a week-long celebration of the lineup of the cast and musical moments.

This comes just ahead of the film's theatrical debut, slated for November 21. November 16 featured a post-Sunday Night Football edition of The Tonight Show featuring Rosalia and DJ Khaled. Later during the week, various cast members are set to appear on the show to talk about the making of the sequel.

Cynthia Erivo will make an appearance on November 17, and Grande on November 18, with Michelle Yeoh appearing on November 19.

Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande talk about the challenges of promoting Wicked: For Good

Cynthia Erivo, during a Screen Actors Guild NomCom consideration screening on November 16, said that the cast for Wicked: For Good has experienced many challenges while promoting the film.

"We have come through some sh**. I mean, f*** even this last week, let's be honest."

The comments come after Erivo intervened when a man jumped a barricade at the film's Singapore premiere to reach Grande on the carpet. Last year, in November 2024, Ariana and Erivo made an appearance at Jake's Takes. Erivo, while talking about the bond the two share, amidst the film's promotion, said,

"I think there are little pieces of us that, when we got together to do this together, when we first started, each of us was missing a little chunk."

She continued,

"And I think we've been able to see in each other a bit of a reflection, and so I think I've gotten a little bit of her softness, and she's got a little bit of my strength."

The two also addressed the reason behind their high emotions during an interview with Entertainment Tonight in November 2024. Ariana addressed that it's taken a long time for the film to come together. While filming began in December 2022, production was paused in July 2023 due to the SAG-AFTRA strike and was resumed and concluded in January 2024. Grande also asked viewers, "Why does emotional availability scare you so?" and noted that the emotions are out of happiness and joy.
