Charleston White on why he thinks D4vd is innocent as Celeste Rivas murder probe continues

In a recent interview, Charleston White argued that D4vd is innocent. This comes days after the Los Angeles Police Department discovered a decomposed body of a teenage girl inside the trunk of an impounded Tesla, which was registered under D4vd's legal name, David Anthony Burke.

White, while claiming that the rapper is innocent, said,

"He didn't do it. When they gonna let a n***a stay out this long when they got a little bit of evidence. They arrest n****s with way less evidence. They'll put him in jail just to put a hold on him. If they find a dead body in me and your car, and this is our car, do you think they'll let me and you stay out longer tham..."

The singer had been on tour at the time when the body was discovered, and a spokesperson for the singer told NBC News:

"Has been informed about what's happened, and although he is still out on tour, he is fully cooperating with the authorities."

Amid a probe into the case, the rapper canceled his US and European tour dates. At the time, the detectives had launched a death investigation after discovering possible human remains. They found a bag in the front trunk of the vehicle that carried a head and a torso.

American comedian Charleston White, while defending D4vd, amidst the Celeste Rivas case, questioned the police for not arresting the artist.

"Think about this, if they got all this information on him dating a minor, an underage kid and she look like a white girl, mixed girl, what n***a they let stay free like this."

On September 17, the Los Angeles Police Department identified the body as 15-year-old Celeste Rivas Hernandez, who reportedly went missing in April 2024 when she was 13. Celeste was wearing a tube top, black leggings, a chain bracelet, and metal stud earrings. She had a tattoo on her right index finger with the text, "Shhh," which also matches David's tattoo.

Earlier, Rivas' mother, while speaking to TMZ, noted that her daughter had a boyfriend named David. Charleston White is not the only personality who has spoken out about D4vd's innocence. In another recent livestream, Twitch streamer Duke Dennis addressed the ongoing police investigation and expressed empathy for Burke for what's he's "been going through."
