Deadline has recently reported that Adam Driver has joined the cast of Chris Rock's forthcoming A24 film. Besides him, Rosalind Eleazar (known for her work in Apple TV's Slow Horses) will be portraying the role of Misty Green. Daniel Kaluuya and Anna Kendrick will also play important roles in the film. The makers are yet to reveal which roles Kendrick, Driver, and Kaluuya will play.

The film revolves around Green, who used to be a successful actress but is now experiencing a professional downfall. Things change when a person from her past decides to help her out. Its principal photography is currently taking place in Los Angeles.

Besides acting, writing, and directing the film, Chris Rock is also co-producing it with Peter Rice and David Worthen Brooks. Miles Alva, Nelson George, and Shaum Sengupta will serve as executive producers.

Rosalind Eleazar has acted in films and shows like Slow Horses, Missing You, Class of ’09, Deep Water, Howards End, Rellik, Harlots, and The Personal History of David Copperfield.

Meanwhile, Driver was recently seen in Francis Ford Coppola's Megalopolis as well as Michael Mann's Ferrari. Besides his stand-up comedy, Rock has been working as an actor. He was last seen in the 2023 biographical drama Rustin, where he played the civil rights activist Roy Wilkins. That same year, he voiced a character in the Canadian animated film Paw Patrol: The Mighty Movie.
