Cracker Barrel is going viral for its massive line-dancing pop-up fail.

In a now-viral video, barely any crowd can be seen at the pop-up of the restaurant chain, days after they announced their rebranding. Fox News has reported that the event was held on August 21 at the Gansevoort Plaza in the Meatpacking District, New York City.

In these clips, around 10 New Yorkers can be seen line-dancing, with some of them wearing cowboy hats. The event was touted as "a full-on ‘taste of country' in the heart of the Meatpacking District."

"Gansevoort Plaza will temporarily transform into a slice of roadside Americana, complete with homestyle bites, line dancing, lawn games and plenty of gingham," the event's description read, per Fox News.

The latest developments at Cracker Barrel explored:

Fox News Business has reported that the pop-up event comes on the heels of the company's announcement that it would be removing the legendary image of Uncle Herschel leaning against a barrel from its company logo.

The day saw a host of games, rocking chairs, several items on the menu, and even a performance from country music singer Jordan Davis. The event came as part of the eatery's "All the More" campaign, which, in addition to the logo, includes a rebranding of the company's menu.

"Our values haven't changed, and the heart and soul of Cracker Barrel haven't changed," a company spokesperson said in a statement to Fox Business. "And Uncle Herschel remains front and center in our restaurants and on our menu. He is the face of 'The Herschel Way,' the foundation of how our 70,000-plus employees provide the country hospitality for which we are known. Cracker Barrel has been a destination for comfort and community for more than half a century, and this fifth evolution of the brand's logo, which works across digital platforms as well as billboards and roadside signs, is a call-back to the original and rooted even more in the iconic barrel shape and word mark that started it all back in 1969," the spokesperson continued.

Per The Associated Press, the company has since announced that its old logo will be making a comeback as the uproar from critics continued to intensify. In a post on its website, Cracker Barrel confirmed the news:

"We thank our guests for sharing your voices and love for Cracker Barrel. Our new logo is going away and our 'Old Timer' will remain."

Fox Business has also reported that in the wake of the short-lived rebranding, the company lost $143 million in company value, or about 10%.

"If the last few days have shown us anything, it’s how deeply people care about Cracker Barrel. We’re truly grateful for your heartfelt voices," the company said. "You’ve also shown us that we could’ve done a better job sharing who we are and who we’ll always be" the company said in a statement Monday.
