Cristiano Ronaldo’s fiancée Georgina Rodriguez dazzles at Venice Film Festival with 30-carat ring

Georgina Rodriguez has become a household name since the release of her Netflix reality series and high-profile relationship with sports icon Cristiano Ronaldo. The pair finally announced their engagement on social media via Instagram after eight years of dating on August 11.

While in attendance at the 82nd Annual Venice International Film Festival, Georgina stunned the crowd and paparazzi alike with a stunning outfit accentuated by breathtaking jewellery. The one element of her fit that stood out the most however was her 30-carat engagement ring. Recently, Lorel Diamond’s ring specialist, Laura Taylor, shared her expertise with Us Weekly and expanded upon the type of ring Rodriguez is likely to be wearing.

“[Her] engagement ring is an extraordinary piece, featuring what appears to be an oval-cut diamond in the 15 to 20 carat range. The center stone is flanked by substantial side diamonds, adding even more sparkle and making the already impressive main stone look even larger.”

Her analysis of Gerogina Rodriguez's engagement ring continues,

“If the diamond is natural and of exceptional quality in the D-F color range with flawless or near-flawless clarity, its value could easily exceed around $2 million.”

Another expert in the field, Neil Dutta, was asked to detail the qualities of the ring by Us Weekly. His opinions point to the ring having a much higher overall valuation.

“A ring of this quality would likely be worth between $3.7 million to $4.9 million,” Dutta told Us. “It’s a piece that rivals some of the biggest celebrity engagement rings, from Beyoncé’s to Kim Kardashian’s, and after [eight years] together, it’s definitely been worth the wait.”

Either way, its an absolutely dazzling piece.

Georgina Rodriguez and Cristiano Ronaldo initially met at a Gucci store in Madrid, where she was working at the time. The pair went Instagram official in May 2017 and announced that Georgina Rodriguez was expecting the couple’s first child together.

The couple has continued to stay strong and fiercely committed to one another over the years, although engagement rumors continued to be sparked and subsequently shut down. In October 2021, the pair announced Georgina Rodriguez was expecting twins. Cristiano Ronaldo announced the twins’ genders in a video alongside Georgina, which he posted on his Instagram in December. Sadly, one of the twins, a boy, passed during childbirth.

Currently, they have two children together, although Georgina Rodriguez has spoken publicly about how she treats her fiancée’s children from outside of their relationship as her own as well.
