The United States Secretary of Homeland Security, Kristi Noem, wasn't appreciative of the immensely popular satirical dark-comedy animated series South Park's brand-new episode, which was released on August 6, 2025, on Comedy Central. As per People, the 53-year-old Head of Homeland Security thought she was being targeted in South Park's latest episode.
Airing on August 6, the second episode of the much-anticipated 27th season of South Park featured an animated version of Kristi Noem, who leads a team of new ICE (Immigration and Customs Enforcement) recruits along with Mr. Mackey, who is the South Park Elementary counselor in the show. In the episode, the team from ICE assaults a performance of Dora the Explorer Live! with the official instruction to "take these bad hombres down."
Following that, when the team is reminded that there are "many Latinos in heaven," the animated character of Kristi Noem, along with her ICE team and Mackey, raids heaven. While the angels try their best to escape detention, Noem instructs her team:
"Remember, only detain the brown ones. If it's brown, it goes down!"
The August 6 episode of South Park also mentions Kristi Noem's notorious story about killing her own pet dog. The Head of DHS shared the story of shooting her pet hunting dog in her memoir, No Going Back. Funnily enough, in the episode, she shoots and kills several dogs, including Superman's pet dog, Krypto.
Kristi Noem, who was previously the Governor of South Dakota, was offended primarily not because of the above-mentioned scenes in the episode, but because she was mocked about her recently updated facial features. In the episode, a glam team frequently fixes her face as it slides off. Noem appeared on Glenn Beck's podcast on August 7, 2025, and regarding the matter, said:
"It never ends, but it’s so lazy to constantly make fun of women for how they look. It’s always the liberals and the extremists who do that. If they wanted to criticize my job, go ahead and do that, but clearly they can’t, [so] they just pick something petty like that."
Noem confessed that she had not gotten the time to watch the episode yet as she was busy with other work.
Besides Kristi Noem, some of Donald Trump's other associates were also featured in South Park's new season

It was not only Kristi Noem's animated character who could be seen in the brand-new 27th season of South Park, but some of President Trump's other supporters, including Vice President JD Vance, and Charlie Kirk, who is a right-wing political activist and media personality, were also featured.
Vice President Vance took to his official X (formerly Twitter) handle and shared a screenshot of his South Park version, with a caption that read:
"Well, I’ve finally made it."
