Did ASAP Rocky reveal the sex of his third child? What we know about rapper’s baby with Rihanna

It seems like the Fashion Killa hitmaker, ASAP Rocky, just hinted at the sex of his third child with pop icon Rihanna. The power couple was seen attending the world premiere of the upcoming animated musical-comedy film Smurfs in the Belgian capital, Brussels, on June 28, 2025.

Directed by Chris Miller and Matt Landon, Smurfs is set to be released on July 18, 2025. Rihanna, who is also the music director and one of the producers of the film, has voiced the main character of Smurfette and brought her to life. The 36-year-old rapper, ASAP Rocky, has been in a relationship with the Umbrella hitmaker, Rihanna, since early 2020.

While the Jukebox Joint rapper was there to support his better half at the world premiere of her brand new film, it seemed like he might have confirmed that they are expecting a baby girl. During their time on the red carpet, ASAP Rocky came across Kevin Frazier, the co-host of Entertainment Tonight, who asked him:

"Is that the girl you've been waiting for?"

To which the rapper quickly replied:

"It is, man, it is."

Despite not being officially married, the pair have been together for quite some time now and also share two kids, both boys, RZA, who is 3, and Riot, who is 22 months. So, if the couple is in fact expecting a baby girl, then she would be a perfect addition to their family.

The Everyday hitmaker, Rocky, and the founder of luxury fashion brand Fenty, Rihanna, along with their youngest kid, Riot, were also spotted at the Paris Men's Fashion Week on June 27, 2025. British Vogue took to TikTok and shared a video of Rihanna arriving at the event along with Riot.

It was during the 2025 Met Gala in May that the power couple revealed that they were expecting their third baby. An insider source earlier informed People that Rihanna and ASAP Rocky couldn't be more "thrilled to be growing their family". The insider source shared:

"Rihanna has always wanted a big family, so she couldn’t be more excited … they can’t wait to give their boys another sibling. They wanted to have their children close together in age, so that they could grow up together and share a close bond. They feel so blessed and are so grateful for this next chapter in their lives. It’s a very special time."
