During an episode of her SiriusXM show on August 28, Megyn Kelly revealed that Blake Lively subpoenaed her amid her legal battle with Justin Baldoni. Kelly called Lively a:
"pathetic, untalented, narcissistic bully."
In another article published on her own blog on August 28, Kelly mentioned that Lively's team tried to "get confidential and proprietary materials" that her team used for any stories they wrote about Blake:
"She backed down and has now missed the deadline to pursue her harassment of me and my team any futher. We gave her absolutely nothing. Not one document, not one record, not one communication."
Kelly slammed Lively's legal team for trying to seek details of private communications and said,
"No world would I ever, ever allow my team's communications to be turned over to a third party."
"We fought her subpoena and won," says Megyn Kelly
Megyn Kelly, in a recently published blog post, claimed that she successfully fought Blake Lively's subpoena. She also claimed that the actress has not been able to come to terms with the fact that the negative perception around her is more than just an orchestrated smear campaign against her, which she likes to believe while playing victim.
Kelly also revealed that Lively claimed she was being paid by Baldoni or his lawyer, Freedman, to justify her "anti-Blake" coverage.
"Newsflash, Blake: I came to those conclusions totally organically. Don't give your power away, sweetheart. It was you, it was all you, who made me unable to stand you. No man had anything to do with it."
Kelly also maintained that she will "never back down to the likes of Blake Lively." The journalist also noted that many content creators are being "actively bullied" by the actress.
Kelly noted that these creators don't have the same resources as she does, and because Lively is "richer and better connected with high-powered lawyers," she might end up getting her away.
