On June 8, 2025, Jesse Williams joined the list of celebrities whose social media account was hacked, with a string of unpleasant, strange, and obscene tweets being posted from his X account . Rapper Drake and troubled music mogul Sean "Diddy" Combs were among the well-known individuals mentioned in the messages, which, in addition to the offensive language, attracted a lot of attention.
Fans and followers were taken aback by the posts, which suddenly surfaced on the former Grey's Anatomy actor's X page. Tweets from the account, which has more than 2.1 million followers, included mentions of drug usage, racism, pedophilia, and nudity. The most notable tweets were about Sean "Diddy" Combs, who is currently dealing with legal issues.
Diddy has strongly rejected all of the lawsuits he is facing and is presently being investigated for alleged sex trafficking. The tweets posted seemed to be making fun of Diddy's infamous "Freak-off" parties.
One of the tweets posted was as follows:
“Diddy had cute b*tt cheeks”
One of them also mentioned:
“Shoutout @Drake for hooking me up with youngies”
This is a reference to Kendrick Lamar's diss song "Not Like Us," in which the Canadian rapper is accused of pedophilia.

Another one wrote:
“I miss diddy”
The hacked account also tweeted about Demi Lovato, referring back to the artist's addiction problem:
“We used to do heroin together @ddlovato”

Other celebrities, including Kendall Jenner and Nina Dobrev, were also drawn into the commotion by the tweets.
The hacking appears to have occurred late on Sunday night. All the tweets posted were taken down immediately, but not before going viral and being saved as screenshots.
As of now, Jesse Williams has not addressed the situation, although outlets like US Weekly, AllHipHop, and The Hollywood Reporter all reached out.
Why was Jesse Williams' account hacked?
Jesse Williams, who is more active on Instagram with a whopping 7.4 million followers, fell prey to this, which was similar to what A$AP Rocky experienced in late May.
Since the hacker tweeted that Jesse Williams' password was "jesse123," similar to A$AP Rocky's "rocky123," many have conjectured that these intrusions may be a component of a more extensive coordinated effort that targets celebrities who use easy-to guess passwords.
Hinting at Williams' inactivity, the alleged hacker had tweeted:
“Jesse Williams’ Twitter so dead where the fans at.”
Williams' most recent post before the hacking incident was a retweet of a Variety piece from June 3 revealing that the Taormina Film Festival, which takes place between June 10 and 17, would preview his upcoming Prime Video Italian original series Hotel Costiera.
Prior to that, he had reposted a video from Hollywood Reporter showing him at the Critics' Choice Awards on February 7.
Legal drama with ex-wife continues in the background
In addition to the social media uproar, Williams and his ex-wife, Aryn Drake Lee, are engaged in a challenging court dispute. According to court filings from earlier this year, Williams charged Drake-Lee of undermining their children's medical care by refusing to consent to essential treatments and threatening to sue their orthodontist.
Jesse Williams claims Drake-Lee's activities have harmed their well-being and is requesting exclusive legal custody over healthcare choices for their two children: their 9-year-old son Maceo, and their 11-year-old daughter Sadie.
The court documents stated:
“On April 3, 2025, during our meeting with the children’s orthodontist when we were to discuss among other things the doctor’s game plan for treating Sadie’s impacted upper right canine tooth and the growing cyst around her tooth, Aryn aggressively told the doctor she does not consent to treatment and that she will SUE the doctor if he touches the children.”
Drake-Lee has retaliated, saying her parental rights were being violated and that she was not given the opportunity to reply in court. The couple was married in 2012 and, after a lengthy and well-publicized court battle, ended their marriage in 2020with a divorce.
This isn't the first time that Jesse Williams has had to deal with digital exploitation. In the year 2022, a naked video of the actor has gone viral. Second Stage Theatre commented:
“Taking naked pictures of anyone without their consent is highly objectionable and can have severe legal consequences. Posting it on the internet is a gross and unacceptable violation of trust between the actor and audience forged in the theater community.”
Jesse Williams and his representatives have yet to respond to the incident. All of the tweets were deleted.
