Did Lauren Graham marry Peter Krause? What we know about Gilmore Girls star’s longest relationship amid Hollywood Walk of Fame honor

Lauren Graham is famous for portraying the character Lorelai Gilmore on the popular show Gilmore Girls.

The 58-year-old actress has had a successful run in Hollywood. In her personal life, while Graham has had long relationships, she has never gotten married.

Recently, on October 03, 2025, the actress received her star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Graham was accompanied at the ceremony by Kelly Bishop (Emily Gilmore), Scott Patterson (Luke), Yanic Truesdale (Michel), and Matt Czuchry, who portrayed one of Rory's romantic interests, Logan.

The 58-year-old played the character of a single mother who lived in the charming town of Stars Hollow with her daughter, Rory (Alexis Bledel), in the seven-season drama that aired from 2000 to 2007.

Throughout her career, Graham has dated several well-known Hollywood figures, but her most talked-about relationship was with Peter Krause, who played her on-screen brother Adam Braverman in Parenthood. The former couple never got married despite dating for almost 12 years, from 2010 until they split in 2021.

In a 2014 appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, the host asked Graham if she would ever think about getting married to Krause.

“Phew suddenly it’s like I’m talking to my grandma, ” Graham said on the show. “It’s all she wants to know. I don’t know. We are very happy as we are, and I never have a good answer for this question.”

“We’re really happy. I feel like close to five years in Hollywood is, like, ‘Aren’t we married already, really?’ I don’t know, it’s good the way it is.” She then added, “I’m tempted to be, like, ‘Big announcement everybody,’ but that would be a lie.”

In another interview, Lauren Graham mentioned that she admires commitment and is happy to see what happens in the future.

“I admire that kind of commitment” Graham answered. “I'm enjoying where I am right now and I'm open to whatever happens in the future.”

In the latter interview, Lauren Graham also talked about children and whether she had dreams of having her own daughter. She said:

“Sure. I love having kids in my life. And it's not at all the same, but I know a lot of teenagers - more than some moms I know - and I've been really, really lucky to have two amazing kids on my shows who I love spending time with. Of course, Alexis [Bledel, who played her daughter on Gilmore Girls] will always be my first.”

During the course of the show, Lauren Graham's Lorelai was engaged to two people: Luke Danes (Scott Patterson) and Max Medina (Scott Cohen), but she eventually broke both engagements.
