Sex and the City actress Sarah Jessica Parker seems to have greenlit her previous romance with Nicolas Cage. According to Just Jared, over the years, there have been rumors of the two actors being involved.

On a recent episode of Watch What Happens Live, Andy Cohen picked up a fan’s question who wanted to know about her relationship with husband Matthew Broderick. After she finished answering the question, Andy Cohen asked her:

“Follow-up question. Did you date Nick Cage?”

Sarah Jessica Parker replied:

“Yes, I did.”

She also talked about her husband, Matthew Broderick, saying that after spending some time with him, she thought he was a wonderful person. However, she knew he was the right person for her in the initial days. She recalled:

“I remember I had to leave to go on location to shoot a movie and we were on East 10th Street and I was getting in a car to go away for a while and I remember thinking, you know, I think I love him and should I say it?”

When Andy Cohen asked who shared their feelings first, Parker said it was her. She said that she had nothing to lose.

Sarah Jessica Parker talks about Sex and the City and says she doesn’t like to watch her own work

In one segment of the show, a character known as ‘The Shady Hat’ asked Parker which Sex and the City personality had the worst style. She replied:

“I think there were like images at one point of us arriving in New York and the way we dress for I think there was a montage of, you know, our arrival like newborn babies exposed to nothing. I would say all of us were at the beginning.”

When asked about something Carrie wore that she herself would never wear, Sarah Jessica Parker said there were many outfits she wouldn't be caught wearing.

Andy Cohen also asked why she didn’t watch Just Like That or episodes of Sex and the City, Sarah Jessica Parker explained that it wasn’t because she didn’t care.

She shared that she didn’t enjoy watching her own work and avoided it because she cared deeply about the experience and found it hard to watch herself on screen. Cohen said:

“There is a meme going around online. It's a still of Carrie showing up at Big's apartment with a top hat with a whip in her mouth and it's gone viral as the symbol for like subjugating yourself for a guy. What's your reaction to that?”

Sarah Jessica Parker replied:

“How would I argue with someone's feeling that way that that's the impression that is? I do recall at the time when we shot that, it didn't feel that way but it's been curious to listen to a younger generation's interpretations and feelings about Carrie and it's not without some, you know color.”

When a member of the audience asked about her favorite memory of Andy at the Met Gala, Sarah Jessica Parker said she always enjoyed the car rides with him, even when they took much longer than expected.

She felt he was incredibly entertaining and made every moment fun. For her, the best memories were all the times they spent together, especially because of the way he turned experiences into fun stories.
