Sara Foster recently shared what went down at Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez’s much-talked-about wedding and, more importantly, what didn’t.

On her podcast, “The World’s First Podcast,” which she co-hosts with her sister Erin Foster, Sara addressed the question on everyone’s mind: Were guests really made to sign NDAs?

“You went, you were a guest, I FaceTimed you several times for gossip and updates — didn’t take any of my calls. Gave no information,” Erin mentioned.
“Did you sign an NDA?” she asked.

Sara replied plainly,

“No, absolutely not. No one signed NDAs. No NDA.”

Erin, still curious, wondered aloud why so many people remained tight-lipped.

“Why won’t you share any information?” she asked.
“There’s nothing — it’s so interesting how the optics were this over the top, you know, protesters ... it’s just not, it’s not what it was,” Sara explained.
“It actually felt very intimate.” added Sara.

Despite the press coverage and the glamorous guest list, Sara’s take painted a different picture from what most assumed. While People Magazine confirmed that more than 200 attendees were present, very few have offered any insight since, keeping the event shrouded in curiosity.

The romantic backdrop of Venice wasn’t enough to keep protests at bay. While Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez celebrated their union, some locals made their discontent visible. Messages like “No Space for Bezos” appeared across Venice, taped to walls and lampposts.

Sara Foster, who attended the event, offered insight into why guests may have chosen to stay quiet after visiting the Jeff Bezos wedding.

“Here’s the problem, you can’t say anything anymore without being attacked. I swear to God, it never occurred to me once that anybody would take issue with people attending a wedding. Truly. It really didn’t. It didn’t.” she shared.

Still, that didn’t stop some of the world’s most famous names from showing up. Oprah, Gayle King, Orlando Bloom, Kim and Khloé Kardashian, Kris and Kylie Jenner, Leonardo DiCaprio, Karlie Kloss, Usher, and Tom Brady were among those in attendance.

Interestingly, many attendees weren’t seen in the press.

“There were definitely a lot of people that were not photographed, I can’t. I mean, that’s, like, so lame. I’m not gonna do that. But it’s very interesting how many people went un-photographed. It was definitely a very interesting setup.” Sara said.

According to Forbes, Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez marked their wedding with a star-studded, three-day celebration in Venice, one that drew as much attention for its guest list as it did for its price tag.

Early speculation falsely claimed the wedding had taken place in Aspen and carried a staggering cost of $600 million. The rumor picked up enough steam that hedge fund billionaire Bill Ackman weighed in on X, joking,

“Unless you are buying each of your guests a house, you can’t spend this much money.”

Jeff Bezos himself reposted the remark, adding, “this whole thing is completely false—none of this is happening.”

While the $600 million figure was dismissed, Forbes estimated the event still carried a hefty price tag. The outlet suggested the real cost likely started at $20 million, possibly climbing to $25 million or more depending on the extent of any private performances or exclusive plans made for the weekend.

The Venice affair marked the second marriage for both Jeff Bezos and Sánchez.
