Tom Cruise and Ana de Armas have reportedly called it quits on their romance.

The Mission: Impossible actor, 63, was first linked to the actress, 37, earlier this year, though they only confirmed their relationship this spring. A source told The Sun this week, however, that they have since parted ways.

"Tom and Ana had a good time together but their time as a couple has run its course," the source said. “They are going to remain good friends but they aren’t dating anymore. They just realised they weren’t going to go the distance and that they are better off as mates. The spark had gone between them but they still love each other’s company and they’ve both been really adult about it."

The source also confirmed that she has already been cast in Tom Cruise's next film, so they will continue to work together.

Tom Cruise and Ana de Armas were first spotted hanging out in February this year. At the time, it was unclear if they were dating, though they were seen holding hands during a trip to Vermont, US. In April, they jetted off on Cruise's private plane to Madrid.

LBC has reported that they recently flew out to London to celebrate the Cuban-born actress' 37th birthday, and they were also seen hanging out at an Oasis concert at Wembley Stadium and cruising around on a Spanish yacht in July.

Page Six has reported that, during a May appearance on Good Morning America, Ana de Armas got candid about her "fun" relationship with Tom Cruise, noting that they were working together on “a few projects.” A source told the Daily Mail that the latter had been "showering Ana with gifts ever since they met."

They continued:

"First, it started with her favourite flowers, then books he thought she would want to read because she's an avid reader. As they got to know each other, the gifts became more personal - jewellery, designer clothes, and more. Probably the biggest gift he has given her is the freedom to travel anywhere in the world at a moment's notice."

Tom Cruise was previously married to Mimi Rogers from 1987 to 1990. He also tied the knot with Nicole Kidman in 1990, though they divorced in 2001. He then married Katie Holmes in 2006, though they split up in 2012.

As for Ana de Armas, she was married to Spanish actor and model Marc Clotet from 2011 to 2013, though she also famously dated Ben Affleck from 2019 to 2021. She was also reportedly linked to Manuel Anido Cuesta, who is the stepson of Cuban President Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez, last year, per Page Six.
