Sean "Diddy" Combs is currently facing federal charges linked to sex trafficking and alleged abuse. He allegedly filed a complaint with a male escort organization about one of its employees, expressing discontent with his poor performance. As the trial draws to a close, the communication record between Diddy and an employee of the agency was presented as a piece of evidence in court this week in the case against the 55-year-old music mogul.
Text messages presented to jurors reveal that on September 26, 2023, Diddy reportedly communicated with Bridget, a representative of the male escort business Cowboys 4 Angels. Sean Combs denied the agency's request for an extra $600 after allegedly hiring a male escort named Cody, reportedly telling Bridget:
"LOL, he couldn't even perform."
In response, Bridget reminded Diddy that the cost is the same regardless of the escort's activities and stated that the money covers time and companionship rather than performance.
She said:
"You pay for his time whether you're dancing or skydiving."
Bridget apologized, adding:
"I'm not trying to be smart with you,"
In response to Sean Combs' apparent attempt to defuse the situation by saying:
"Talk nice to me."
Sean Combs thought she wanted to know how he felt about the service, so that's why he told her. Bridget went on to say:
"I apologise if my tone came across as anything but respectful... not trying to be smart with you."
Then Combs said:
"It's all love, all good."
Combs, who claimed to be a regular client, objected to the price hike later during the conversation. Combs wrote to Bridget on September 26, 2023:
"Stop raising my rate, I am a long timer."
Bridget explained that the individual escorts set their own prices, and Cody defended his higher fee by saying:
"The best guys have high rates."
Bridget restated that she was "contractually obligated to the rates on the website."
The discussion ended with Combs agreeing and asking Cody to meet him at 1 A.M. at the Trump International Hotel & Tower New York.
Diddy's Amex card was purportedly used to cover escort expenses
Prosecutors provided travel logs for another escort named Cabral, who was often produced during the time of the trial, further linking Combs to the escort. According to the records, Diddy's American Express card was used to pay for Cabral's September 2023 flights from Atlanta to Newark alongside his hotel stay at the Trump International Hotel.
Prosecutors used these money records to support their allegation that Diddy planned and funded sex work as part of a larger criminal organization, even though they were less specific than other pieces of evidence presented during the trial.
