A male escort who goes by "The Punisher" reportedly broke down in tears when he heard Diddy's kids plead for leniency in their father's sentencing.

According to The Daily Mail, Sharay Hayes, who notoriously worked for Combs and his ex, Cassie Ventura, at the former's freak-off parties, appeared in court on Friday for the disgraced mogul's sentencing. He told the outlet he appeared as a spectator at the New York federal court this time for his own "closure."

Hayes was thrust into the spotlight after he testified in Diddy's trial in May. At the time, he recounted being paid about $2,000 to partake in over a dozen "freak off" parties from 2012 onwards. This weekend, watching Sean Combs' daughters, Jesse and D'Lila, weep in front of the judge brought him to tears.

Speaking with the Daily Mail, Hayes said of Friday's court hearing:

‘Hey, look, I'm a grown, tough guy named 'The Punisher' and even I was about to ask for some tissue. It was, very, very hard. Felt very heart wrenching. It’s very eye opening and it's making me look at this situation from a different lens.'

In July, Combs was charged with two counts of transportation for prostitution, though he was acquitted of the more grave charges of racketeering and two sex-trafficking counts. The prosecution pushed for 11 years behind bars, though the defense team argued that he should be let go with time served.

Diddy has since been sentenced to 50 months in jail. In an emotional address to U.S. District Judge Arun Subramanian, Combs apologized to his family and victims, including Cassie and another woman he referred to as "Jane." He blamed his antics, including abuse and coercing them into sex, on him being “sick on drugs”.

Speaking with news.com.au, Hayes said he was surprised Combs only got 50 months:

“I actually thought it would be a little more,” he said. “But I can’t argue with what the judge said that after his apology due to the Cassie (beating) video and knowing he was under investigation, he still ended up committing domestic violence and bashing Jane.”

He said he had a unique persepctive on Combs' bond with Casie:

“I do think that Diddy was out of control, fuelled with addiction and ego. But I do believe in redemption and that this experience has changed him and he will be a better person.”
