Everything we know about the tragic demise of Keeley Whitcomb:

NTV News and KLKN-TV have both reported that the incident took place at an intersection near Hastings, between Sallehorn Road and Riverview Avenue. The Adams County Sheriff's Department responded to reports about the same at around 4:45 p.m.

It was found that Blake Whitcomb, Keeley's husband, 33, was driving a pickup truck that collided with a farm silage truck being driven by Dale Feik, 66. The sheriff's office confirmed that two kids, aged 7 and 10, were pronounced dead at the scene. Both drivers were rushed to Mary Lanning Healthcare for treatment.

As of this writing, the Nebraska State Patrol is reportedly executing an accident reconstruction. The Sheriff's Office has confirmed that there are no doubts about possible inebriation. The Nebraska State Patrol, Hastings Rural Fire Department, Glenvil Fire & Rescue, and Hastings Fire & Rescue all assisted at the scene.

Keeley Whitcomb has since published a tribute for each of her kids. For her daughter, Laynee Rae, 10, she shared a string of photos of her, along with the caption:

"10 years was not long enough for me. Forever on my mind, my Laynee Rae. 9/15/2025."

For her stepson, Ryder, Keeley Whitcomb shared a video with the following caption:

"Once upon a time, I met a boy. I fell in love with him the moment I met him. Though I didn't know him all his life, I got to know him 3 years. Being a step-parent is a whole different kind of love. 9/15/2025."

As reported by People Magazine, Cheryl Gardner, Ryder's grandmother, also took to Facebook to announce the tragic demise of her grandson and honor him with a string of photos:

"Yesterday, Heaven got a new angel. Fly high Ryder and thank you for blessing me, if only for a short time. God has bigger plans for you my little buddy," she wrote.
