DJ Akademiks, in an Instagram story, attached a screenshot of his screen from Megan Thee Stallion's online deposition. The deposition was allegedly supposed to be 7 hours long, and the YouTuber can be seen wearing a blue jersey shirt with a plate of oxtail.

In the caption, he mentioned,

"Pulled up to the ROC Nation / Meg thee stallion requested deposition like a cookout had to make sure I got a plate in hand."

This comes after Akademiks, in a previous Instagram story, claimed that Megan Thee Stallion pulled him into her court case and that he was asked if he was paid by Tory Lanez, Nicki Minaj, or Drake.

"This deposition meg thee stallion got me in asking about Tory, Drake and Nicki Minaj more than their client Meg the stallion. "U sure Drake ain't pay u." "U sure Nicki ain't paying blogs". "Who is grand wizard." "Did Tory send u bread on cash app?"

What is DJ Akademiks' involvement in Megan Thee Stallion and Tory Lanez's legal battle

DJ Akademiks has long been a supporter of Tory Lanez amid the latter's legal battle with Megan Thee Stallion. Lanez was sentenced to 10 years in prison for shooting Stallion in the foot in July 2020.

In the fallout of the case, one of Lanez's lawyers pointed out that Lanez had been leaking court documents and medical information to Akademiks. In February 2022, Stallion blasted DJ Akademiks for posting news on her ongoing legal battle and accused him of lying. In an Instagram story, she said,

"Y'all got breaking news 15 minutes before court started and nobody has even been called in yet?? Y'all tryna win a social media campaign this is MY REAL LIFE! Y'all tryna get retweets SPREADING FALSE NARRATIVES."

She went on to tag Akademiks and said,

"Why are you lying? What did you gain?"

Stallion emphasized that it's "f***ed up" that the information is public record and "nobody even cares to read."

To which Akademiks responded with another post, noting that he doesn't care about her fallout with Lanez and that the two can "play yall PR games." He added that the audience knows what he and ROC Nation are doing, and that he doesn't care.

He also asked Megan Thee Stallion to not "bring in my brand in there." Stallion, while responding, questioned how Akademiks is "specifically able to see documents before they come out in court." She also insinuated that Lanez's lawyers are sharing documents with bloggers.
