American YouTuber DJ Akademiks appears to have a few theories about Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs. During a recent streaming session, he said that Combs might get the “Gunna treatment” following his prison release. For context, when Gunna was released in 2022, he faced criticism for allegedly snitching on others in the YSL RICO trial.Nonetheless, during a streaming session, Akademiks showed rapper Waka Flocka Flame’s reaction to the Netflix documentary Sean Combs: The Reckoning. In the video, Flocka said that he was glad he didn’t attend any parties and felt the documentary was eye-opening for him. DJ Akademiks also played Lil Rod’s narrative from the documentary. He mentioned:“Lil Rod, who again, I guess he finally gets his cash out of this whole situation, he's still suing Diddy, by the way, for unpaid wages and for s*xual assault and abuse. Lil Rod is the one who got this all started.”He also mentioned:“People have lightened up. I think this documentary kind of puts him back in like, ‘Oh, this guy's a really bad guy, like realm.’ But I do think when Diddy gets out, Diddy's going to get the Gunna treatment. And I hope you guys is exactly what it's going to be.”DJ Akademiks said that he was willing to bet on this claim. He added that if Combs behaves in a certain way after coming out of prison, he could be called out as a snitch. He opined:“You are going like right now is the equivalent to like snitching.”DJ Akademiks talks about the “Diddy persona”DJ Akademiks explained that people mostly didn’t care anymore about Combs acting like a boss over women. He said the hip-hop mogul was cleared of the most serious charges, like s*x trafficking and other big crimes, which no one would ever defend. However, the focus was on less serious things, like his treating women inappropriately. He said there were videos and stories about him, but if Combs returned like the way Gunna did, many rappers who stayed silent before would eventually go against him. He added:“That's if he shuts the f*ck up up and don't come back out like that Diddy persona. And I wonder how he's processing this because even as we're watching the you know I don't know if you guys watch the documentary by now the hubris is what you know the judge quoted when he was given the sentencing down. He said, ‘Brother, like, you have a release party in Miami already, and I haven't made my ruling.’”DJ Akademiks mentioned:“The judge was upset by that when the prosecutor brought up that there was pre-planned Diddy parties that he was ready to walk out of jail if he was given time serve and have that week.”He opined that Combs must make peace with the fact that the persona of Diddy was no longer alive. He was no longer the “life of the party.” DJ Akademiks said that even after returning home, he has to fight civil cases. Akademiks also said that Combs must forget a part of himself if he cares about himself and his family.Follow Soap Central for more.
