As per a recent article by US Weekly, American actress and musician Raven Symone recently explained why she and her wife Miranda Perlman sleep in seperate bedrooms.
In a recent sneak peak uploaded of the Jeff Lewis has Issues podcast on TikTok, Miranda Perlman explained that there are many reasons as to why the couple decided to go for such an arrangement.
“Raven is a crazy sleeper and she would keep me up at night. She kicks and tosses and breathes. I have a big routine.” Perlman said on the podcast.
To this, Raven Symone interjected in between and clarified her reasons for the same.
“It’s the hair. It’s the humidifier. It’s the curtains. It’s the way she lays in the bed with red light systems on the whole entire body. I’m in the bed, I’m on TikTok, my legs are spread all the way open. Half-naked.”
According to an article by Buzzfeed, during an episode of the Tea Time with Raven and Miranda podcast, the couple opened up about various factors that led them to sleeping in different rooms and how this decision helps them in functioning better, individually as well as collectively.
"We function better in separate spaces" said Miranda on her podcast to which Raven replied with a quick 'Yes'. "Not all the time, but especially when it comes to sleep." Raven concluded her statement.
"It has upped my [grunts to represent desire] for you. I believe in 'absence makes the heart grow fonder.' We work together, we live together, we eat together, we cook together, we drive together...it's like, I'm going to have a little time to myself, and I think that it's actually helping." Raven explained that sleeping on seperate beds has helped the two in different ways.
As per Buzzfeed, The Cheetah Girls star was the one who had proposed the idea of the two sleeping in seperate beds. While initially, Perlman got worried and had doubts if Symone was hinting towards a divorce. Eventually, Perlman learned that Symone was suggesting an idea to help both of them sleep peacefully and function better during the day.
