A 15-year-old girl named Celeste Rivas Hernandez's dismembered body was found in singer D4vd's abandoned car.

The Tesla was found at an impound lot, and the decomposing body has since been identified. As of this writing, the singer has not been named a suspect, though several outlets have reported that he has canceled his tour and is aiding with the ongoing investigation.

However, the internet is riddled with conspiracy theories, as scores online are trying to link him to Rivas. The latter was reported missing in Lake Elsinore, Riverside County, in April last year.

In one such alleged theory, Rivas was the singer's girlfriend. The pair allegedly met in 2021, when she was 11 and he was 16 years old, and the latter crafted a persona revolving around Hello Kitty, because that was what she liked, based on a keychain and crocs she wore when they met.

The conspiracy theory also claims that D4vd, born David Anthony Burke, released a song called Hello Kitty Shirt in her honor. As of this writing, this is unconfirmed and is largely an internet conspiracy theory. Nonetheless, the lyrics of the song go as follows, in part:

"All of my diamonds they gorgeous / I saw my shawty she gorgeous / I love my shawty with long hair / I love my shawty with dark skin."

The latest developments in D4vd and Celeste Rivas's case explored:

After the conspiracy theory broke out on X, the internet, including the microblogging platform and SoundCloud, where Hello Kitty Shirt is uploaded, has been inundated with scathing remarks against D4vd, accusing him of having killed the minor and/or starting an inappropriate relationship with her. However, there has been no mention of evidence suggesting the same.

The masses are slamming him for allegedly having something to do with her murder, despite there being no official announcement suggesting the same. E! News has reported that Rivas' cause of death has been deferred, though the date has been listed as September 8, i.e., the day her decomposing body was discovered.

The Riverside County Sheriff’s Office told NBC News in a statement that Rivas, 15,

"has been identified as the juvenile who was reported missing from Lake Elsinore," which is a city located about 68 miles southeast of Los Angeles. At the time, they said that they did "not have a crime classification from the coroner as to the mode or manner of death. Thus, we do not have any suspect information at this time." They did confirm that the 20-year-old singer "is fully cooperating with the authorities.”

Earlier this month, law enforcement officials were responding to reports of a foul odor coming from a Tesla at a tow yard when they discovered the body. It had reportedly been festering for several days. They eventually learned that it was registered under D4vd's name.

The "Romantic Homicide" singer has since axed his ongoing tour in support of the investigation.
