Donald Trump remembers Hulk Hogan with a throwback photo on his funeral day

President Donald Trump shared a Truth Social post on August 5 featuring a photo of him with Hulk Hogan, remembering the late WWE wrestler on the day of his funeral. The caption of the post read:

"They are having the “Hulkster’s” funeral today, and I thought everybody would enjoy seeing this picture."

The post comes after his earlier tribute shared on July 24, where Trump, in Hogan's remembrance, wrote:

"We lost a great friend today, the “Hulkster.” Hulk Hogan was MAGA all the way — Strong, tough, smart, but with the biggest heart."

The tribute also mentioned Hogan’s speech at the Republican National Convention, calling it one of the week’s standout moments. Hogan consistently showed support for Trump, along with posting a photo with him on Inauguration Day, with the caption:

"Two Real American Legends."

Who attended Hulk Hogan's private funeral in Clearwater?

Hulk Hogan's funeral was held at Sylvan Abbey Memorial Park & Funeral Home in Clearwater on August 5. Big names from the wrestling industry reportedly attended the private service, including Paul Michael Levesque, famously known as Triple H, and his wife, Stephanie McMahon, retired professional wrestler Ric Flair, former professional wrestling promoter Vince McMahon, and former professional basketball player Dennis Rodman.

Remembering Hulk Hogan, Ric Flair wrote on X:

"Even In Heaven, He Sold Out Again. The Most Beautiful Funeral I’ve Ever Attended! EVERYONE Was There. From @KidRock , To @TripleH , To @VinceMcMahon , To @dennisrodman . The Whole World Showed Up To Pay Respect To The Greatest Of Them All! Rest In Peace Hulkster! 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻"

Hulk's wife, Sky Daily, and ex-wife Linda Hogan also attended the service. Other attendees included American stand-up comedian and podcaster Theo Von and musician Robert James Ritchie, famously known as Kid Rock.


Brooke Hogan honors Hulk Hogan with an Instagram post on his funeral day

Talking about Hogan's funeral, Brooke Ellen Oleksy wrote on her Instagram:

"My father hated the morbidity of funerals. He didn't want one. And although I know people grieve in many ways - and I'm so grateful for all celebrations and events organized to honor him, as his daughter, I had to make my own decision to honor him the best and most genuine way I knew how...privately...the way that made me feel the closest to him."

Brooke Hogan revealed that she honored her father by taking her children to the beach he loved, calling it a simple and meaningful goodbye that brought her closer to him.

Ending the caption, she wrote:

"Every grain of sand and every wave reminded me of being your beach baby, and brought us closer to you. I pray you are at peace and know how dearly I love you."

Hulk Hogan died of a heart attack, according to TMZ. His medical records also showed he had atrial fibrillation and leukemia.
