A$AP Rocky pushed back on Reddit moderators this week for deleting his posts.

The rapper took to social media this week to slam Reddit moderators for deleting his comments, noting that he was just trying to spread the word about his music and connect with his fans.

"MODS STOP DELETING MY COMMENTS," he said in one post. "ARTISTS HAVE TO CHECK IN WITH THE MODS TO PUSH THEY MUSIC 4 THE FANS? DONT BE DUMB," he remarked in another.

In another string of posts, he doubled down on his dissent:

“DONT BE DUMB I FOLLOW THE RULES,” he demanded. “IT WAS UP FOR 1 SECOND. AUTO TAKEDOWN,” he added of a video he tried to upload but had been taken down.

In other news, A$AP Rocky made headlines just earlier this week when he was announced as the first musical guest of the forthcoming new year on Saturday Night Live (SNL). The episode is scheduled for January 17, and will see the rapper perform songs off his new album, Don't Be Dumb.

A$AP Rocky's newest project debuts one day before his episode on SNL airs, January 16. It marks his fourth studio album and his first in over seven years. The rapper last appeared on the show in May 2018. At the time, he was joined by Donald Glover, Chris Redd, and Kenan Thompson.

He shared the news and artwork of his forthcoming project in a post on Instagram last week.

"JANUARY 16 2026 , DON’T BE DUMB VINYLS , CDs , CASSETTES , AND DIGITAL DSPs AVAILABLE , THANKS TO EVERY CREATIVE AND MUSICIAN WHO HELPED ME WITH THIS MASTERPIECE 🔥," he penned.

The art was created by famed director Tim Burton, who said in a statement that he appreciated working with A$AP Rocky.

“I loved working with an artist like Rocky — it was a great collaboration. He spoke to me about his alter egos and I just drew my interpretations of them. He told me he wanted to make being a dad cool again, which was beautiful, even though I’ve never been able to achieve that myself.”

The rapper reciprocated the appreciation when he said:

“I sat and I played the album for Tim Burton, and he was f*cking with it heavy. […] He was rocking his head and he’s like, ‘Wow! I didn’t know you made that kind of music!'”
