Twitch streamers are weighing in on the D4vd–Celeste Rivas case. On September 8, police discovered a decomposed body of a teenage girl inside the trunk of an impounded Tesla at a Hollywood tow yard. The vehicle was registered under David Anthony Burke, also known as D4vd.
In a livestream, streamer Duke Dennis addressed the ongoing investigation, saying:
"It's so f**ked up. I've been seeing everything that bro been going through and it ain't even my business. So I'm not gonna speak on like what he should or shouldn't do. This is one of my biggest fears and that's to be, that's to be embarassed."
He then added:
This supposed to be his month his week, the end of the end of this year supposed to be so great, and so happy though. The internet done found a way to completely ruin this moment for him"
On September 17, the Los Angeles Police Department identified the body as 15-year-old Celeste Rivas Hernandez. She was wearing a tube top, black leggings, a chain bracelet, and metal stud earrings. Rivas went missing in April 2024, when she was 13. Her body also had a tattoo on the right index finger with the text "Shhh," which matches Burke’s tattoo.
What have other Twitch streamers said about D4vd Celeste Rivas case?
Duke Dennis is not the only Twitch streamer to speak out on the D4vd–Celeste Rivas case. Jasontheween, who has been friends with Burke since September 2024 after Burke appeared on Jason’s Twitch channel, has been linked to the incident by social media users.
Netizens reportedly shared videos of Jasontheween, alleging that he was once seen meeting a girl who matched Celeste’s description. However, Jason took to Twitch to address the situation and said:
"First off, I want to retract my statement. Obviously the other day, I was defending David. Umm, before all the new evidence came out, I do not condone anything that David has done or is doing."
Another screenshot circulating on the internet allegedly features a conversation between Burke, Rivas, and Marky, also known as MarkyNextDoor. MarkyNextDoor is D4vd’s bodyguard and a streamer. In the screenshot, Burke allegedly says that Marky is the "best bodyguard" and that he’d "kill" for him.
Marky addressed the situation on X, stating that the "Discord message/screenshot" featuring him is "fake," "not real" and not authored by him.
