DWTS alums Sasha Farber and Jenn Tran reportedly split after a year of dating, remain 'very good friends'

Sasha Farber and his Dancing with the Stars (DWTS) partner, Jenn Tran have reportedly parted ways. A source close to the couple told People magazine that after dating for around a year, the couple have amicably split, but remain “very good friends.”

Farber and Tran were partners on Season 33 of Dancing with the Stars, which aired from September to November, 2024. They were, however, eliminated on the seventh episode of the season.

Farber also seemed to confirm his break-up on social media. However, he swiftly deleted the post. As per The U.S. Sun, Farber posted an image of himself to TikTok, alongside an audio clip of the dancer saying that he is presently single.

Sasha Farber and Jenn Tran’s pairing on the reality TV show, Dancing with the Stars, prompted intense media and fan speculation about their relationship status, given that the pair shared great chemistry while performing together.

The speculation intensified in wake of posts that Farber and Tran shared on social media, which displayed that the pair had developed a close bond while filming DWTS. According to People, a TikTok posted by Tran saw the pair taking a swan boat ride at Echo Park in Los Angeles, following which Tran addressed Farber and asked,

“After this one-on-one date, how do you feel? Do you think you're gonna get the rose tonight, Sash?”

Farber and Tran added fuel to the fire during the sixth episode of DWTS, which saw them referring to the bond they share. As per E! News, host Derek Hough gave his opinion on the pairing, and said,

"Is it weird for me to say that I ship this?”

E! News noted that Tran had addressed her chemistry with Farber, and stated,

“I think if we didn't have such a good relationship, our dancing would be totally off. We trust each other so much. We know each other so well. So that's why this works so well.”

Farber commented on his bond with Tran as well, saying,

“From the first day I met you, I feel like I’ve known you for a long, long time. You really do make this competition so much fun for me.”

Another TikTok that prompted fans to speculate the two were dating, was put up after Farber and Tran were eliminated. It showed Tran knocking on a door, which was opened by Sasha, according to Cosmopolitan. The publication noted that she had captioned the post,

“Private rehearsals starting ASAP.”

DWTS host Alfonso Ribeiro’s wife seemed to confirm that Farber and Tran were together when she posted a video montage of Thanksgiving celebrations, in which she referred to them as the “cutest couple.”

In December, Tran posted a series of images on Instagram, which featured her and Farber all dressed up and posing together. Seemingly addressing the fan speculation around their relationship status, Tran wrote,

“The pics you gremlins have been waiting for”

Meanwhile, a source confirmed to Us Weekly the same month that Farber and Tran were in fact dating.

Sasha Farber took to Instagram on Valentine’s Day 2025 to post a video of Tran, and wished her a “Happy Valentine’s Day” in the caption.
