The Fantastic Four actor Ebon Moss, teases exclusive details of the film leaving fans wanting more!

As eagerness is on a high for one of the next MCU installments – The Fantastic Four, Ebon Moss-Bachrach, who is set to take on the iconic role of Ben Grim a.k.a. The Thing, has disclosed fantastic insights into one of the next upcoming smash hit films within the Marvel Cinematic Universe - The Fantastic Four.

All geared up to release on the 25th of July, 2025, starring – Ebon Moss-Bachrach as The Thing (The Bear), Joseph Quinn as Johnny Storm (Stranger Things), Vanessa Kirby as Susan Storm (Pieces of a Woman), Pedro Pascal as Reed Richards a.k.a. Mr. Fantastic (The Last of Us), Julia Garner as Silver Surfer (Ozark) and Ralph Ineson as Galactus (The Office) among others.

With the multiversal saga ongoing within the MCU, The Fantastic Four film is reportedly set to adopt an innovative take on Marvel’s First Family.

Ebon Moss-Bachrach is not another Tom Holland:

Long-time fans of Ben Grimm a.k.a. The Thing can be assured having learned that The Thing’s iconic catchphrase “It’s Clobberin Time” has been used multiple times on the set of The Fantastic Four and it might just be making its way into the Marvel film!

In an interview with Jimmy Kimmel on Jimmy Kimmel Live, Moss-Bachrach insinuated that the phrase might possibly be added on in the film saying – “I slipped it in there a couple of times…”

Within the same interview with Jimmy Kimmel, Moss also humorously dodged questions (something that Tom Holland has failed time and time again in past interviews – i.e., dodging questions) about Robert Downey Jr appearing/cameoing as Dr. Victor Von Doom in The Fantastic Four.

With a whole lot of humor in his voice, Moss-Bachrach set aside the question saying “It’s not going to happen. I’ve been through rigorous media training…”

This humorous exchange between the two of them accentuates the MCU’s desire for some fun amongst the fans while keeping an element of mystery surrounding The Fantastic Four.

Andy Serkis’ expertise with Motion-Capture Magic on The Fantastic Four:

In the same interview with Jimmy Kimmel, Ebon Moss-Bachrach revealed the great mind behind the filming of the film using motion-capture magic and that is Andy Serkis who skilfully is set to bring The Thing to life in Fantastic Four.

In another interview with Variety, Moss-Bachrach said –

“I’m doing a lot of motion capture on Fantastic Four. So, for maximum-data facial capture, I have to be clean-shaven. They’ve got so many amazing animators working on it, literally hundreds of people.”

An excellent addition to The Fantastic Four, where its creativity lies is Andy Serkis, who is widely recognized for his works in motion capture in films like King Kong and The Lord of the Rings series, The Hobbit series.

Ebon Moss-Bachrach squeezes out his appreciation for Andy Serkis’ commitment to the film, describing him as “the Godfather of motion capture” in the interview with Jimmy Kimmel.

With a fantastic cast and crew, The Fantastic Four is prepared to reexplore Marvel’s first family. With Ebon Moss-Bachrach’s insights regarding production, sets, and filming, the fans are excited to see what the film brings out on the big screens!
