More about Elizabeth Chambers and her family, as the TV personality posts a rare picture of them together

According to People Magazine, Elizabeth Chambers and actor Armie Hammer married in 2010 and were together for ten years before their split in July 2020. Just two months before announcing their separation, Elizabeth Chambers took to Instagram to celebrate ten years of marriage, sharing a carousel of pictures from their special moments. She wrote:

"TEN years married, twelve together, thirteen years as best friends. Happy Anniversary. I’m beyond grateful for you, this decade, our family and the dreamiest Friday night anniversary sunset."

Later in July, Elizabeth Chambers posted a statement on her Instagram announcing their decision to part ways. She said,

"Thirteen years as best friends, soulmates, partners and then parents. It has been an incredible journey, but together, we’ve decided to turn the page and move on from our marriage. As we enter into this next chapter, our children and relationship as co-parents and dear friends will remain our priority. We understand this news lends itself to public dialogue, but in the interest of our children and our family, we’re asking for privacy, compassion and love during this time."

Later, in 2023, their divorce was finalized, which came at a time Armie Hammer was accused by several women of alleged abusive behavior. In 2021, several messages allegedly sent by the "Call Me By Your Name" actor were leaked, showing him engaging in inappropriate conduct. According to People Magazine, one woman came forward alleging that she was in a four-year relationship with Armie Hammer while he was still married to Elizabeth Chambers and accused him of alleged physical abuse. Armie Hammer, who has continued to deny the allegations, was investigated by the Los Angeles Police Department but was not charged due to the lack of sufficient evidence. When the first allegations against Armie Hammer came to light, Elizabeth Chambers took to Instagram, saying:

"For weeks, I've been trying to process everything that has transpired. I am shocked, heartbroken, and devastated. Heartbreak aside, I am listening, and will continue to listen and educate myself on these delicate matters. I didn't realize how much I didn't know,"

She further added:

"I support any victim of assault or abuse and urge anyone who has experienced this pain to seek the help she or he needs to heal. At this time, I will not be commenting further on this matter."

Earlier this year, in May, Elizabeth Chambers spoke about her own personal journey through traumatic relationships in the trailer for her documentary, "Toxic," saying:

"When it comes to toxic relationships, no one is immune. Navigating through my own heartbreak took me back to my roots as an investigative journalist."

Elizabeth Chambers would previously often post pictures of her family, but in light of recent events, she rarely posts pictures with her ex-husband.

According to People Magazine, in her appearance on "Today with Jenna & Friends," Chambers talked about how her family was doing while also adding about co-parenting her children. She said,

"They're amazing. We're amazing. I think we've never been stronger as a family... I don’t love that word co-parenting, right? I think we’re just parents and everyone is just parenting as well as they can with what they have. Our family is, again, so strong and better than ever. But for me, divorce in itself is just trauma.Nobody wants to inflict trauma on their children. We bring these little angels into the world."

According to People Magazine, Elizabeth Chambers has also mentioned in her appearance on "Today with Jenna & Friends" that she visited several family separation therapists so that she could better help her children handle the pressures of their parents' divorce and "minimize the trauma."
