The Great Balls of Fire! actor was first married to Pamela Jayne Soles in 1978 after meeting on the set of Our Winning Season. According to Us Weekly, she was regarded as the 70's scream queen for her role in Halloween and her debut film, Carrie. In 1983, the two finalized their divorce.
Quaid later got married to Meg Ryan in 1991. The pair fell for each other while filming the movie D.O.A., which was released in 1988. Meg Ryan is an actress famous for her roles in movies such as When Harry Met Sally..., Sleepless in Seattle, and You've Got Mail. Meg and Dennis had a son together, Jack Henry Quaid, in 1992; however, this relationship came to an end with the couple finalizing their divorce in July 2001.
In July 2004, Dennis Quaid tied the knot with Texas real estate agent Kimberly Buffington. Kimberley was around 17 years younger than The Parent Trap actor. The two welcomed twins Thomas Boone and Zoe Grace in November 2007; the relationship had several ups and downs, and their divorce was finalized in 2018. Dennis met his fourth and current wife, Laura Savoie, in 2019. The two got engaged in October 2019 and tied the knot in June 2020.
While speaking to Fox News Digital in a recent interview, Dennis reflected on his marriage with Laura Savoie, who is 39 years his junior.
"It's the closest relationship I've ever had with anybody. Every day is a paradise. What can I tell you? I don't know why God had waited so long to bring her, for her to come along, but (I'm) really glad he brought her into my life, or I walked into hers."

71-year-old Hollywood actor Dennis Quaid tied the knot with Laura Savoie, 34, in June 2020 in Santa Barbara, California. The two met in 2019 at a business event while Laura was working toward her second master's degree at the Texas McCombs School of Business.
While there is a significant age gap between the two, Dennis Quaid, while speaking to Fox News Digital in 2024, said that he doesn't notice it.
"I haven't spoken out about the age difference of my wife. Other people have. But...I really don't think about it. She's got so much going on that, you know. I just don't notice it. She's just, she's the light of my life."
In 2019, after Quaid got engaged to Savoie, he spoke to The Guardian and said that all the attention the two received for their age gap was "really a laugh."
"I don't go out looking for an age gap or someone really younger than me. I met her at a business event and then the relationship devloped."
Laura is originally from St. Louis and obtained her undergraduate degree in accounting from Pepperdine University. As per her LinkedIn profile, Laura was the valedictorian of her graduating class. She also has a master's degree in accounting, financial reporting, and assurance services from the University of Notre Dame.
Laura is a certified public accountant and worked at the accounting firm Ernst & Young from 2015 to 2017.
