On October 28, 2025, the makers of Fackham Hall released its official trailer on the internet, which runs for two minutes and 18 seconds. It begins with a bunch of men shooting animals, which hilariously keep increasing in size.

The storyline takes place in 1931 England, where a family is happy that their daughter is getting married. One character notes, "After so many years of courting, she has finally found the right cousin." The trailer then showcases several hilarious moments from the film that border on spoofing period dramas. The makers have also thrown a murder mystery spin into this. It might remind viewers of other spoof films like Scary Movie and Airplane!

Fackham Hall is produced by Jimmy Carr, Kris Thykier, Kent Sanderson, Danny Perkins, Andrew Karpen, Mila Cottray, Patrick Carr, Nick Shumaker and David Levine under the banners of Mews Films and Anonymous Content.

The makers have revealed that it is a parody of titles like Gosford Park and Downton Abbey. It's cast members include,

  • Ben Radcliffe as Eric Noone
  • Thomasin McKenzie as Rose Davenport
  • Gemma Wardle as Gladys
  • Katherine Waterston as Lady Davenport
  • Lizzie Hopley as Phyllis Davenport
  • Tim McMullen as Cyril
  • Emma Laird as Poppy Davenport
  • Damian Lewis as Lord Davenport
  • Paula Wharton as Mrs Kitchen
  • Tom Felton as Archibald
  • Jimmy Carr as Vicar
  • Tom Goodman-Hill as Inspector Watt
  • Sue Johnston as Great Aunt Bonaparte
  • Lily Knight as Fifi Valentine
  • Laurie Ogden as Patricia
  • Anna Maxwell Martin

In a Deadline interview, comedian Jimmy Carr spoke about writing the film. He said,

"The British Film Industry does two things very well. Period drama and comedy. Now we didn't have time to write two movies, so we've had to mash the genres together... I'm just slightly worried that if you say Fackham Hall in a posh English accent it might be misconstrued, hopefully that won't be a problem."

Bleecker Street will be releasing the film on December 5, 2025.
