A viral video circulating on social media alleges that Karoline Leavitt, the recently named White House Press Secretary by President Donald Trump, was “kicked off” Jimmy Kimmel Live! after a heated exchange with the host.

The video, which was widely shared on X (formerly Twitter) and YouTube, claims that during the show, Jimmy Kimmel cut off an interview segment and escorted Leavitt off stage. However, after further examination and referencing reliable sources, there is absolutely no evidence to substantiate that any such event occurred.

There is no proof that Karoline Leavitt has ever appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live! at the time of writing this article. Her name does not appear on any official guest lists, and no footage or credible journalism supports the claim that the interview took place.

A YouTube video posted on April 26, 2025, titled “Karoline Leavitt Kicked Off From Jimmy Kimmel’s Show After Fiery Clash,” received tens of thousands of views. In the clip, the narrator begins by saying:

"What was supposed to be a casual late-night chat turned into a battlefield."

Jimmy Kimmel Live! and Leavitt’s office have both denied the allegations. According to Snopes, Harrison Fields, deputy press secretary, stated that it was “fake news,” and a show spokesperson confirmed that no such interview ever occurred.

Some of the YouTube videos were even prefaced with disclaimers stating that the stories were fictional and crafted for entertainment purposes.

Jimmy Kimmel Roasts Trump Officials, Including Karoline Leavitt

During a recent episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live!, the late-night host went on the offensive against several individuals in Donald Trump’s administration. His targets included White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt and Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth.

Kimmel began by referencing Bring Your Child to Work Day, jokingly linking it to the latest White House news. Pete Hegseth was ridiculed for allegedly having his wife participate in classified briefings. While the Pentagon stated she was not present for any classified conversations, Kimmel joked, “Maybe she’s his designated driver.”

Kimmel didn’t shy away from personally insulting Leavitt. He took shots at her for marrying much older real estate developer Nicholas Riccio. During a January 2025 episode, he implied that her relationship may have influenced her appointment as press secretary:

"She's married to a much older real estate magnate, which, you know, in that case you're hired." He said.

Leavitt has considerable political experience, having worked with Kayleigh McEnany and run for Congress at 25. She reportedly fell in love with her husband during the campaign trail.
