The first look of Halle Bailey and Regé-Jean Page in their upcoming romantic comedy You, Me & Tuscany is giving us major rom-com vibes as the actors open up about their film with exclusive shots and an interview with People magazine. With a release date a few months away and a never-before seen pair, the premise sounds promising and exciting.

Speaking about her character Anna in the film, the actress told People magazine how she was immediately impressed by the script as she said,

"It captivated me right away. I was very intrigued by Anna's storyline, by her character, by her vision and passion that she has and the wants and goals for herself. ... It's a really feel-good movie."

Jean Page then added in, about how he was instantly convinced by producer Will Packer to be in the film as he told the outlet,

"Will [Packer] and I had a real short conversation and then he just texted me 'Tuscany in the summer' with a question mark. End of message. I was like, 'Yeah, I think we can do that.'It's getting to hang out in this aspirational world with Halle Bailey and just live through being in love in this removed environment where you get to go discover yourself away from your everyday life.... And the moment you meet [Halle], you want nothing but good things for her, so there is no better vessel for that journey."

More details about You, Me & Tuscany

For You, Me & Tuscany, Halle Bailey and Regé-Jean Page step into a sun drenched romantic comedy that blends impulsive decisions, emotional detours and an immediate spark between two people who never expected to fall for each other. The film is directed by Kat Coiro and written by Ryan Engle, with Universal Pictures set to release it in the United States on April 10, 2026. The story unfolds along Italy’s Amalfi Coast, where a free spirited Italian chef and a reserved British lawyer collide during a destination wedding and find themselves caught in an unexpected romance.

Joining the main couple is a cast that includes Marco Calvani, Aziza Scott and Lorenzo De Moor. Production first surfaced in March 2025 under the working title Italianna, with Bailey and Page confirmed from the beginning. Calvani and Scott joined in June, followed by De Moor in July. Filming began that same month on the Amalfi Coast. By November 2025, the project had officially adopted its final title, You, Me & Tuscany.

Filming in Tuscany only amplified the magic, as the actors revealed during the People interview. Bailey took cooking classes, explored vineyards and traveled with her toddler son Halo. Page spent his time driving through the hills and soaking in the scenery. They even ended up racing each other on set, with Page admitting Bailey was much faster than he expected. This real life chemistry will surely get reflected in the film's premise.

You, Me & Tuscany arrives in theaters on April 10, 2026.
