Glinda and Elphaba return for another adventure in Wicked: For Good, which is all set for a November 21, 2025, release. The sequel comes almost a year after the first film, Wicked, hit the theaters and smashed several box-office records. While there are still a few more months for it to be in theaters, fans can get a sneak peek into the new movie through the official poster.

Universal Studios has officially released the poster, which was previously leaked online during the CinemaCon event. The poster offers a few details to fans who are eager to find out what will happen to Glinda and Elphaba in the second chapter. The tagline reads:

"You will be changed."

Wicked: For Good — The official poster shows Elphaba and Glinda facing each other for a change

The poster for Wicked: For Good shows Elphaba and Glinda standing on two hills, facing each other. Elphaba wears her classic dark robe and hat, and holds a broom. Glinda wears her glistening blue dress with a crown and her wand. Glinda's side is filled with fresh pink and purple flowers as opposed to Elphaba's side, which looks decidedly darker. The poster also shows a path that falls between them.

It looks like they are at a crossroads with each other after what happened toward the end of Wicked (2024). Of course, they didn't start off on good terms, but eventually got past their differences and bonded with each other. Yet, the ending showed them parting ways after they realized something shocking. So, the tagline likely hints at their attempt to change each other's opinion.

Wicked: For Good is scheduled to arrive in theaters on November 21, 2025, and show Elphaba and Glinda's future after what happened at the end of the first film. If you don't recall the details, here's a brief recap.

Toward the end of Wicked, Elphaba and Glinda realize that Morrible and the Wizard are behind the growing oppression in their university. Elphaba doesn't want to work as their spy and decides to rebel. Glinda hopes Elphaba to reconcile. However, Elphaba doesn't want to be a part of the Wizard's evil plan. So, she flies away, leaving Glinda behind.

The Wicked sequel will likely show their beliefs being tested once again. However, this time, they will not be on the journey together.
