As per a recent article by Entertainment News, television celebrity and entrepreneur Kylie Jenner recently paid tribute to her late friend and hairstylist Jesus Guerrero.
Kylie Jenner paid tribute to Guerrero six months after his sudden demise at the age of 34. She posted throwback pictures on what would have been Guerrero's 35th birthday on August 23 on her social media account, along with the caption, "We miss you so much."
The 28-year-old entrepreneur also shared a snap of a birthday cake with the emotional caption:
"Not a day goes by when we don't think about you Jesus. Happy heavenly birthday, you are forever loved and miss."
The primary cause of Jesus Guerrero’s death was pneumonia and disseminated Cryptococcus neoformans, with acquired immunodeficiency syndrome listed as a secondary factor. Following his death, Kylie Jenner wrote on February 25th in an Instagram post that Jesus was more than a friend.
Jesus was more than a friend. He was a light in my life. A source of laughter, comfort, love and unwavering support. I don't know how I would have made it through to the last almost decade without him by my side. He had a way of making even the heaviest things feel lighter. Kylie wrote on her Instagram account and shared a photograph of her with Jesus.
According to his sister, 34-year-old Jesus, who collaborated with celebrities like Kylie Jenner and Jennifer Lopez, struggled with an illness prior to his death in February; however, the cause of his passing is still unknown.
"He was diagnosed with gastritis months back, but it was never anything to get that bad. So, we don't know if that was a part of it." Gris Guerrero told US Weekly March 31.
Symptoms include nausea, vomiting, stomach discomfort, and appetite loss. The disorder is defined by inflammation of the stomach lining, which is frequently brought on by alcohol, over-the-counter painkillers, or bacterial stomach infections. The U.S. National Library of Medicine states that it frequently has a very excellent prognosis.
On February 22, 2025, the 27-year-old sister Gris Guerrero announced her brother's death on a GoFundMe page:
"It is with a heavy heart that we let the world know that Jesus Guerrero has gone to heaven. He is a son, a brother, an uncle, an artist, a friend, and so much more. Born and raised in Houston, TX to immigrant parents, Jesus learned how to work hard and dreamt of taking his skills to the top."
"Unfortunately, his passing came very suddenly and unexpectedly. Currently, his family is taking care of his personal belongings and accommodations to bring him home to Houston." Jesus's sister wrote
Kylie Jenner and J. Lo attended the funeral service for Jesus on March 30 in Houston.
