Glenn Close says she was “impressed” by co-star Kim Kardashian’s acting in All’s Fair

Kim Kardashian is playing the role of Allura Grant in Hulu's upcoming legal drama All's Fair, and her co-star and eight-time Oscar nominee, Glenn Close, shared at the 2025 Upfronts red carpet that she was impressed with Kim Kardashian's acting in the series.

Kim Kardashian is a businesswoman and a billionaire. The 44-year-old is a media personality, known mostly for her appearance in the television reality series Keeping Up with the Kardashians. Glenn Close is a prominent American actress. She has multiple Tony Awards and several other prestigious accolades to her credit.

On May 13, Glenn Close shared exclusively with E News at the 2025 Upfronts red carpet in NYC that,

"I was so impressed by Kim. I say that absolutely sincerely...First of all, she's a very sweet woman, she does her homework, she has great people around her, which says a lot."

She added that,

"She's not a prima donna. She was studying for her law exam during some of the setups near the end of our shooting. She has a lot of balls in the air."

Other co-stars of The Kardashians also shared that they were impressed by Kim Kardashian's acting. For instance, Teyana Taylor was seemingly impressed with Kim's ability to remember he lines. Taylor shared with E News that,

"Her ability to remember her lines, she's so good with that, and she'll keep reading it over and over and over again. It's dope to see...We had some really great scenes. We bond a lot."

Hulu's legal drama series, All's Fair, has an ensemble cast of Kim Kardashian, Sarah Paulson, Glenn Close, Naomi Watts, Teyana Taylor, and many others. According to Hulu, the drama follows "a team of female divorce attorneys who leave a male-dominated firm to open their own powerhouse practice."

Kim Kardashian's acting career

Though Kim Kardashian is not a prominent figure in the acting industry, this is not her first acting gig. According to Wikipedia, Kardashian made her feature film debut in the year 2008 with a spoof movie titled Disaster Movie.

In 2013, she appeared in the movie Temptation: Confessions of a Marriage Counselor, and the role unfortunately won her the infamous Razzie Award for Worst Supporting Actress.

Kardashian also ventured into voice acting with PAW Patrol: The Movie as well as its sequel, PAW Patrol: The Mighty Movie. In 2023, she appeared in the twelfth season of American Horror Story along with Emma Roberts.

Wikipedia further states that Kim's performance in the series was reportedly met with positive response from critics and audiences alike, though there were also a few negative responses.
