They reportedly prefer a tall woman, given the character’s strong, warrior-like physique.All these things point to Wonder Woman. The character is an Amazonian princess and warrior and was previously portrayed by Gal Gadot. There's also a chance that this character is Black Canary. In July this year, Gunn had stated that they aren't doing the casting for it until they have a script.“We’re also not casting WW, nor even discussing it, until a script is finished."When a fan asked if the project is getting fast-tracked, the DC Studios co-CEO said:“It’s a priority but I wouldn’t call that fast-tracked. Nothing is going to be shot unless we’re as sure as we can be that the script is good.”Gunn was following actress Adria Arjona on social media and people on the internet speculated that she could be joining the DCU. During the Superman press tour, Gunn spoke about it:“I follow Adria on Instagram but everybody came out [and said], ‘He just followed her, that means she’s Wonder Woman'. She’d be a great Wonder Woman, by the way.”Ana Nogueira is currently writing a solo Wonder Woman film for DCU. The character was created back in 1941 by H.G. Peter and William Moulton Marston.
