In the ever-rolling reel of Hollywood legends, Tom Cruise is currently tipping his hat, and his heart, to none other than Keanu Reeves. As Mission: Impossible - The Final Reckoning gears up for its next death-defying chapter, Cruise is openly geeking out over the John Wick star’s cinematic swagger.

The two icons are bonding over their mutual obsession with doing their own stunts, redefining action cinema, and never faking the fire. One’s riding motorcycles off cliffs, the other’s shooting through nightclubs, and both are making movie magic.

Speaking to Extra during a red carpet event, Tom Cruise talked about the bond he shares with Keanu Reeves as he expressed his admiration for the star and said,

"I grew up with Keanu. You see Speed, you see The Matrix, and also what they did with the [John] Wick franchise, and looking at that you're saying, look at how they captured the tone from that and that ability and charisma. …I know what it takes to do that stuff so I always call him. I'm like "Hats off man, hats off,” and I dig those movies, I really love it."

Both Cruise and Reeves are the poster boys of modern action cinema. One is saving the world in high-octane spy thrillers; the other is avenging dogs, wives, and honor with poetic gun-fu precision. They’ve never shared a screen, but there’s a silent mutual respect there, which extends hopes for a possible collaboration

Keanu Reeves is gearing up to dominate 2025 in a way that only he can- blending deadly cool with cosmic charm and everything in between.

First off, Ballerina crashes into theaters like a lightning bolt, throwing us back into the ruthless, neon-soaked world of John Wick. But this time, it’s not just Keanu’s assassin finesse on display; he’s mentoring Ana de Armas in a pulse-pounding dance of bullets, blades, and betrayal. It’s a high-octane symphony of violence and style that promises to leave hearts racing and jaws dropping.

Even Tom Cruise is all praise for the project as he talked about Ballerina during a red carpet interview, where he said,

"I saw the movie [Ballerina], it just kicks a** … it's right in that tone, it’s right in that Wick world, you're gonna love it."

Then, fast forward to October 2025, where Keanu Reeves flips the script completely with Good Fortune. Picture a celestial being trapped in a chaotic body-swap with a struggling mortal, it’s a cosmic comedy of errors filled with laugh-out-loud moments, unexpected wisdom, and Keanu’s signature laid-back charm. This film shows us the star’s lighter, mischievous side, proving he can rule the action scene and tickle our funny bones in one fell swoop.

Ballerina will be released on 6 June 2025.
