Bethenny Frankel had fans talking after she shared that she once dated Jennifer Aniston’s rumored boyfriend, Jim Curtis.
The Real Housewives of New York City personality opened up on her Just B with Bethenny Frankel podcast on Sept. 2.
"I dated Jennifer Aniston's boyfriend and he was a nice guy," Frankel shared.
She kept the details to a minimum, explaining it was “out of respect” for Curtis and Aniston, but admitted their romance happened “maybe 10 years ago.”
"I'm happy for her, and I want to say this in the right way. His name is Jim Curtis, and he's getting a lot of attention because he's with her now and he's in like the wellness space," she added.
For over two decades, Jim Curtis has worked in the health and wellness world, where he serves as a hypnotherapist, life coach, and author.
Bethenny Frankel reveals why Jim Curtis may be a perfect match for Jennifer Aniston:

Bethenny Frankel reflected on her time with Jim Curtis, admitting that the wellness world was not a major part of their relationship. "Wellness, however, was something we didn't get that into," she said, explaining that she did not always take the lifestyle seriously. Still, she recognized a quality in Jim Curtis that seemed to match Aniston.
"He was earlier in his journey. But with that and with the wellness aspect, there was an earthiness to it, and it does vibe with Jen Aniston," Frankel shared.
She expressed hope for the actress’s happiness, adding:
"I'm happy for Jennifer Aniston because I do believe she wants to find love. I do believe it's been difficult, as I understand as well as anybody can, and I do believe she's sort of got that earthy, mellow side to her."
Frankel said that with her "institutional knowledge" of Curtis, she was confident about his new romance.
"He's a handsome, nice man, and he seems kind," she shared.
Her comments ended on a warm note:
"I think this is good. I like it, and I'm happy for her and for him, who, like I said, I thought was a lovely man."
Jennifer Aniston finds "calm" with Jim Curtis, as friends say new relationship is helping her "slow down":
People Magazine reported that Jennifer Aniston had spent much of the summer with her new boyfriend, Jim Curtis, after the two were first seen on a July yacht vacation in Mallorca. Those close to the actress described the relationship as a meaningful shift. One insider explained that it was her first serious romance in a while, adding that the connection with Curtis "feels different."
"Jim's great. Her close friends love him. He's amazing to be around, he has this really calm and secure energy. Jen loves it." shared the source.
That influence, the source continued, allowed Jennifer Aniston to step back from her usual pace. "She’s so used to going 100 miles an hour while balancing projects," they said, noting that Curtis had helped her "turn inwards and slow down a bit." As a coach and author, Curtis encouraged her to "really appreciate and feel proud of everything she's built."
"She can be very hard on herself, he supports her in a way that feels new." the insider explained.
Jennifer Aniston and Courteney Cox double date with boyfriends Jim Curtis and Johnny McDaid:

Jennifer Aniston and Courteney Cox took their friendship to another level with a double date in Malibu. The Friends stars were seen dining at Nobu in August with their respective partners, Jim Curtis and Johnny McDaid, Page Six reported. Paparazzi captured the foursome as they exited the restaurant and headed to their cars.
Cox and McDaid have been together since 2013, but Aniston’s romance with Curtis is still fresh. Even so, this wasn’t the couple’s first group date. Earlier in August, the actress and her new boyfriend joined Jason Bateman and his wife, Amanda Anka, for a marathon dinner in New York City. Their public outings followed a June sighting in Big Sur, where the two appeared affectionate.
Eagle-eyed fans had already connected the dots months earlier. In May, Aniston shared Curtis’ book, Shift Quantum Manifestation Guide, in a casual Instagram photo dump. Before that, in April, Curtis left a playful comment on her post, a clue that their romance was blossoming.
Sources said the pair met through friends and hit it off right away.
