Megyn Kelly earned plenty of success with the launch of her podcast, The Megyn Kelly Show, even accumulating more than four million subscribers on YouTube.

However, in her opinion, Kelly's journey as a journalist and political commentator wasn't a cakewalk. She shared a list of celebrities who were mean to her during her career in an interview with The Daily Mail.

Kelly shared her unpleasant meet-up memory with Die Hard star Bruce Willis. As per the talk show host, Willis had joined her for an interview on Fox News in 2006.

"He came on and was just so clearly unhappy to be there. I mean, that's fine, he has his politics, but why agree to come on?"

Willis was diagnosed with Aphasia in 2022 and had a better diagnosis in 2023, leading to the revelation of frontotemporal dementia (known as FTD).

Kelly continued her assessment of the past incident and shared that,

"Usually people have some give. He didn't. At all."

She added that Bruce Willis' behavior was "so ungiving, so ungenerous" that day. In the end, Megyn Kelly acknowledged Bruce Willis' health struggles but still stuck to her being hurt by the incident.

"And I hate to say it because of how he's struggling now. But he was just unpleasant."

Megyn Kelly also talked about Al Roker in her recent interview

Kelly was later asked in her interview with The Daily Mail about a person whose onscreen personality didn't match their real personality. Kelly didn't hesitate and shared that the person would be NBC Today star Al Roker.

"Let's just say, if my mother ran into Al Roker, she would turn into Larry David bumping into Alan Dershowitz at Martha's Vineyard very quickly," she shared.

As per a report shared by Indiewire, Larry David and lawyer Alan Dershowitz reportedly clashed over politics in 2021 at a Martha’s Vineyard grocery store, in which David confronted Dershowitz over his ties to the former Trump administration. Larry had called Alan "disgusting" during that confrontation.

“It’s disgusting. Your whole enclave — it’s disgusting. You’re disgusting,” he shared.

However, in the end, Megyn Kelly chose not to provide any further explanation for Al Roker being mean to her.

Meanwhile, Megyn Kelly has also found herself in disagreement with her fellow right-wing commentators like Ben Shapiro. As per a report shared by The Hollywood Reporter, Shapiro and Kelly attended AmericaFest, Turning Point USA’s annual conference. The event, which focuses on a family-friendly celebration of patriotism and community, was one of the first since Charlie Kirk (Co-founder of Turning Point) was assassinated in September 2025.

As per the outlet, Ben Shapiro expressed his opinion on stage that the conservative movement might be in danger because of “charlatans” and “grifters”.

"The conservative movement is in serious danger, from charlatans who claim to speak in the name of principle but actually traffic in conspiracism and dishonesty, who offer nothing but bile and despair,” shared Shapiro.

Shapiro later called out Megyn Kelly and Tucker Carlson for not speaking against Candace Owens, who had alleged that Charlie Kirk was assassinated as part of a conspiracy that possibly involved members of the Israeli government.

Megyn Kelly later replied to the Shapiro incident in an interview with Vanity Fair. She expressed her rebuttal that Ben Shapiro and CBS News Editor-in-Chief Bari Weiss were to be blamed for the rise of antisemitism, thanks to their efforts to censor criticism of Israel.

“They are making antisemites, Tucker is not making antisemites. They are,” shared Kelly.
