Pamela Anderson has dished the details about her short-lived romance with Liam Neeson. The pair reportedly struck up a romance after The Naked Gun, and during an interview with People Magazine this week, the actress opened up about it. “If you must know, Liam and I were romantically involved for a short while but only after we finished filming” the star, 58, said, noting that they spent an “intimate week” together at his New York home. “I had my own room,” she noted. “Our assistants both came; even family stopped by.”She recalled how they “went to dinner at a tiny French restaurant where he introduced me as the ‘future Mrs. Neeson,’ ” and spent time in his garden, where she said, "I tended to a rosebush overgrown with mint … I was happy to help, and he appreciated.” After their "lost week," however, they parted ways "to work on other films.” “I adore Liam,” she said, “but we are better friends, in full honesty. He is such a supporter of this new trajectory in my career and kindly tells me he is very proud of me. I’m sure we will always be in each other’s lives.”Pamela Anderson opens up about her tryst with Liam Neeson: Read more In her profile piece for People Magazine, Pamela Anderson said of her tryst with Liam Neeson: “We were having fun." She called their bond “a little bit like a Nancy Meyers film. I always was laughing when people thought, ‘Oh, that’s a publicity stunt.’ I’m like, ‘A publicity stunt? This is real. We have real feelings.’ ” Early in September, TMZ broke the news that their romance was simply a PR stunt to drive ticket sales for their movie. However, Pamela Anderson also acknowledged these claims back in September, when she accepted a lifetime achievement award at the Deauville American Film Festival in France. “I do not and will never feed into PR stunts," she said onstage at the time. “That would be a death sentence. I'm authentically driven. I'm superstitious when it comes to love. And I'm not comfortable sharing any shred of my romantic life.” Noting that she'll “fall in love again and again onscreen," she added, “That is my job,” she continued. “If we do it well, you will feel it, a kind of projection. It is the greatest compliment. So please, think positive. And I appreciate your good wishes. There are no silly games being played. I'm sincere." Pamela Anderson will be making a comeback onscreen alongside Elle Fanning and Callum Turner in Rosebush Pruning, though she told the outlet that she hopes for more challenging roles to come her way. “Let’s just hope this is just the beginning,” she said. “I’m ready for action and have this whole new inspiration and love of this industry—and life!” she added. “It’s a rebel move to be happy.”Stay tuned to SoapCentral for more.
