Jason Isaacs recently appeared on an episode of the podcast Table Manners with Jessie and Lennie Ware, where the actor described his experience of shooting Season 3 of the popular series The White Lotus. Isaacs spoke candidly about his chemistry with his co-stars, and in particular, he shared with the podcast’s hosts the surprise he felt when he realized that one of his co-stars, Patrick Schwarzenegger, the son of actor Arnold Schwarzenegger and Maria Shriver, was a humble person.
Reasoning that his presumption was based on the fact that Schwarzenegger was a star kid, Isaacs shared,
“I didn't expect Patrick to be nice because he's the son of a famous movie star, and he's such a fabulous, grounded person.”
Jason Isaacs spoke fondly of his co-stars during the podcast, revealing that he and his on-screen children developed a close relationship and remained in touch even after the show’s filming ended. Isaacs said,
“You know who I chummed up with?…it’s my kids. Patrick, Sam and Sarah Catherine became like my kids, you know, by proxy. And I fell madly in love with them. I still, we text each other all the time.”

Jason Isaacs on filming The White Lotus
Jason Isaacs’ appearance on Table Manners with Jessie and Lennie Ware was not the first time that the actor spoke about his experience of working with Patrick Schwarzenegger. According to a report by the Daily Mail, Isaacs, while appearing on the radio show The Chris Evans Breakfast Show with The National Lottery, described his impression of Patrick Schwarzenegger after shooting with him and said,
“Let me tell you about Patrick Schwarzenegger because you would assume, being what they would now call a nepo baby, which is a slightly repulsive phrase. I assumed I was going to meet some horrible, spoiled, young prince of Hollywood. [He's] one of the nicest, most grounded, humble, lovely people I've ever met in my life. [He's] become a very good friend.”
During his media appearances after the release of the show, in which Isaacs played a prominent character, the actor has spoken candidly about the environment during the filming of the show.

While he has mostly shared appreciative comments from his experience, Isaacs has not shied away from revealing that periods from the shoot could be tense. While interacting with The Guardian, Isaacs shared,
“You couldn’t avoid one another. There are tensions and difficulties. I don’t know if they spilled from on-screen to off-screen, or if it would have happened anyway. There were alliances that formed and broke, romances that formed and broke, friendships that formed and broke.”
He further confessed to the publication,
“I can’t pretend I wasn’t involved in some off-screen drama.”
However, from what Isaacs has shared about his experiences related to the making of The White Lotus Season 3, it seems that working on the show was extremely positive for him. The report by the Daily Mail notes that Isaacs, while speaking to the Virgin Radio UK show, shared that his reel and real-life children bonded with each other when his own children visited the sets during the seven-month-long shoot. According to the Daily Mail, Isaacs told the radio channel,
“What was odd is my real children arrived, and they bonded with them, because they're closer to their age, and made me realise that my closest friends on the shoot, I was old enough to be their father.”
Jason Isaacs’ wife also lived with him during the series’ filming, as per The Guardian.
