It appears that Brooke Hogan, daughter of late wrestling icon Hulk Hogan, is unfazed by reports that she has been left out of her father’s $5 million estate. The former reality television star spoke with TMZ on September 11 about her direct thoughts on the matter,
"His decision is no surprise to me. It's what I asked for, I stand by it with no regrets. My dad knows I'm a hard worker and I have been surviving without his money for a long, long time."
Ultimately, the sole beneficiary of Hulk’s estate is his son Nick Hogan.
While Brooke started off her career as a singer, she was close to Hulk and regularly accompanied him for his WWE appearances. However, the two became estranged over time, as a result of Hulk’s controversies and behavior eroding their personal relationship.

Brooke Hogan’s relationship with late father Hulk Hogan
While Brooke Hogan had a rocky relationship with her father, she and her husband, retired NHL defenseman Steven Oleksy, still moved from Michigan to Florida to be closer to him when his health problems began to mount. Olesky shared the following with People Magazine when asked about the dynamic between his wife and her father and the impetus for their move,
“She was there for every surgery leading up to the last two years. She would fly down on her own dime, take care of her dad, and it just made a lot of sense. No one understood his body, procedures, medications and everything else more than my wife.”
However, the proximity did not mend the state of disrepair their relationship had reached and towards the end, Brooke Hogan and her father were practically estranged again. Brooke even gave birth to twins in January and due to her relationship with Hulk, they never got the chance to meet their grandfather and spend time together as a family.
Upon his death Brooke Hogan shared a deeply emotional farewell to her father on social media via Instagram. Within her statement she elaborated on the nature of their rift,
“It was a series of private phone calls no one will ever hear, know, or understand. My father was confiding in me about issues weighing on his heart, both personal and business. I offered to be a life raft in whatever capacity he needed. I told him he had my support. I begged him to rest, to take care of himself."
Brooke currently operates her own design firm and lives happily with her husband and children.
